Speaking of excitement, if you're looking for something else that’ll get your heart racing, I’d also recommend checking out gates of olympus demo — it’s an online casino with thrilling gameplay and high RTP. Definitely worth a try if you're into games that bring that rush, just like boxing does.
I agree with you, boxing has a rich history and it’s definitely not going anywhere. The fights on Saturday were a great reminder of the level of skill and excitement that boxing brings. Juan Manuel looked incredible, and Pavlik is always a powerhouse. Sergio pulling off the upset was a huge moment, and Williams definitely redeemed himself — he’s been through a lot.
As for MMA, it’s definitely growing and has a huge following, but boxing’s legacy and global appeal are tough to match. The skill and strategy involved in boxing, along with the incredible moments it creates, will always keep it at the top for me. Sure, MMA has its place, but boxing is still the combat sport in my book.
I really don’t buy the whole “sport is dying” narrative. If anything, sports engagement is bigger than ever. The difference is that fans interact with sports differently now. It’s not just watching fights or matches on TV anymore. People analyze stats, follow live odds, and participate in betting communities. That ecosystem actually keeps sports alive and growing. Take something like https://stake.org.in/ — the official Stake website serving users in India. It’s a massive sports betting and online casino platform founded in 2017 where boxing, football, cricket and esports markets are available. Payments support INR and crypto through blockchain systems, making transactions transparent. Plus new users even get a +200% welcome bonus, which shows how competitive these platforms are becoming.

The sport isn't dying necessarily. Just going through a serious recession. It needs a serious spark. UFC is about to sign a contract with Fox. I remember when I was 8 or 9 seeing fights on CBS and NBC still sometimes during the afternoons. I never see that anymore. Unless its ESPN Classic or on VS. The local gym here in Perth Amboy had a full sized boxing ring at one point - what has that room been turned into? You guessed it, an MMA gym where they teach kickboxing and jiu jitsu. Shit sucks! Now they just have a room with four heavy bags, an assortment of gloves thrown on the floor, a few jumpropes, a few free weights and some other random boxing gear. It hurts my feelings to be completely honest. Seeing the large area of the floor that used to be a perfectly good ring covered in mats makes me throw up.wow i guess we are losing the future if we dont get boxing more visual for our kids of this generation....THEN WE MAY NOT HAVE A FUTURE
