Who would you like Cotto's next opponent to be if he beats Margarito?

How is it that Cotto should fight Oscar, but Mayweather is a bitch if he wants to fight Oscar?

I vote fight oscar de la hoya. Oscar wanted the very best and if floyd is gone for a year or so then cotto would be the best fighter near his weightclass...and the welterweight champion. Besides many complained that "the world awaits" did not deliever and was a boring fight i assure you cotto v. de la hoya would not be a boring fight or even a remotely decent fight... it would be a GREAT fight. the styles (in my opinion) match up beautifuly. You have cotto who would pursue and work the body and oscar would hang back and counter with left hooks...it would be action-packed and i think a great win for either man. If oscar wins it helps cement his legacy and if cotto wins it establishes his legacy. I honestly couldnt pick a winner but it would be a very good fight.

Unify the belts wit Williams. The winner of that one can fight the Clottey after he whomps Zab. Unify the belts, WTF?? What the fuck is the WBO belt worth? Cotts wants the IBF or the WBC.. If I'm Cotto, I'd send Mr Slinky back to fight Quintana.. Fuck Paul, paul got his ass whooped, cut up and almost knocked out.. PRPP

Williams. It's the most reasonable fight.

I'd personally like to see him face Berto. Underrated prospect who I think could hold his ground against somebody like cotto. Hes slick and hes got power and cottos got a history of trouble w/slick fighters.

It will be either Williams or Oscar de la hoya. I would prefer to see him fight Williams.

ko dlh in december and get that big check before he retires and then face the winner of pw vs marg 2 or rematch mosely If he can get by Oscar, the winner of Paul and Margarito II would be ideal. Then he can move on to thw youngsters in the division e.i., Andre Berto, Kirland and El Perro (154).

DLH. Fighting and beating him would make Cotto a superstar.

Williams or Clottey. We still have to see more out of Williams to make a good prediction, but Clottey would be a very difficult challenge unless Zab is able to beat him (even though I'm a Zab fan I think it is more than 50% unlikely)

De La hoya wont fight Cotto - it will probably be Williams which is an awesome fight. we will see how much Williams is made of.

First start off with De La Hoya in December for more or less an easy fight for him for money, then Williams in March or April 2009 and the winner of Clottley vs. Judah in July 2009 and if Berto has the WBC then him in December 2009 to unify the four titles.

I'll go with Oscar. Cotto needs to beat Oscar then beat williams. Then i think money will come out of retirement to fight cotto in a mega fight with big dollars :D
