Williams had to fight him 2 times to finally destroy him. Talk about fighting people's left overs. I want Cotto vs. Williams just as much as anything but let Cotto fight Margarito and after that let the talk of a Williams fight endure, but one thing is for sure Cotto vs. Williams is going to happen. Cotto will not avoid Williams that's for sure. Just because Cotto is concentrated of his present fight vs. Margarito doesn't mean a fight with Williams will not happen.

Cotto doesn't have any other fight if he beats Margarito. Williams-Cotto makes the most sense. Maybe - MAYBE Williams should fight the Clottey-Judah winner, but who else could Cotto fight besides Clottey and Williams? Honestly, if Cotto DOESN'T fight these guys, he better get criticized more than Mayweather ever did.

First of all, I want to see this fight just like everyone else. But Williams won a belt, then lost it his next fight, then got it back, but what else has he done? Let's be realistic here. What does Williams bring to the table? He defended his belt once and lost it. So why not let Williams defend his belt a couple of more times, then there would be more at stake for Williams and more to gain for Cotto's legacy. The fight will be bigger down the line!! Williams is a new champion again and just doesn't bring ANYTHING to the table. Let him get his PPV game up, let him get his resume game up and then we can talk. haha this actually IS a lot of fun. i see why yall did this now Well he did take the belt from the guy Cotto is about to fight. Besides the fact that this is a worthless point of discussion, if Cotto died tomorrow, his legacy would be of a "great boxer" not a p4p legend. And both Williams and Cotto will want to be a p4p legend. Which Cotto is not. So this thread can die now. Thanks.
