Pavlik just said nobody knew about Calzaghe until the Hopkins fight

Everything Pavlik said was true. Most US fans didn't know who he was until he fought Hopkins. Pavlik has, and let's be truthful here, taken a stab at the typical American way of thinking: "just because he's not on HBO he's a bum" Take a leaf out of Pavlik's book and respect people you haven't seen before, because as Joe showed against Lacy, just because you haven't seen him fight, doesn't mean he is a bum.

I hope he doesn't retire until he fight pavlik... and why not... I think calzaghe beat pavlik.. if he does is it an obvious duck?

Clear hype move man.. Enzo Calzaghe was downing Pavlik SO MUCH. He just wanted to throw another shot cause he deserved too and too ignite some frustration to the calzaghe camp so Joe will fight him.

His fight against Hopkins got the lowest ratings in HBO history... wow really, I guess Hopkins can't sell shit either :)

What I believe he meant to say was nobody knew about him in America until the Hopkins fight.

Probably the casual fans who tuned in because of Hopkins' name.

What he meant/said was that most casual american boxing fans didnt know who he was before he fought hopkins, and i would have to agree with him on that
