Wow, alot of you guys are young or new to the game. Its all good though. Its good to see that boxing is gaining more fans as people keep saying that were sliding
I remember my dad and uncles getting together when I was little to watch Leonard-Haglar. I knew it had to be special because we had never got together to watch boxing before.
yeah this was my first...i was 4 and we had to go to bed early because there a big party my dad was throwing...i snuck out and watched it...i didn't realize what was going on at the time though
i already knew the outcome cuz i saw it a little later on tape, not live. i didnt root for anyone cuz i was still young and green and didnt know much about the sport. over the years of watching boxing i always side with punchers more so than boxers.
i love the whole "a puncher always has a chance" saying, cuz it's so true. plus who wouldnt want to watch guys like foreman and tyson in action. always entertaining
I watched it live. Dad woke me up in the middle of the night. I was 7.
I wanted Foreman to win 'cause dad told me he was such a big puncher. He rooted for Ali. i already knew the outcome cuz i saw it a little later on tape, not live. i didnt root for anyone cuz i was still young and green and didnt know much about the sport. over the years of watching boxing i always side with punchers more so than boxers.

great fight BatTheMan, hell of a first fight to watch too :beerchug:
after that fight i wanted to be like Ali, possibly the greatest fighter ever. Foreman looked like a beast in comparison to Ali
