I dont see how any true competitor would be satisfied to win in such underhanded fashion. The best part in the Williams vid is in the 5th round when he falls down after missing a big left hook and the ref gives him a count and he looks to his corner as if to say "WTF is going on in this ring?" wow, there really was some shady stuff going on in that 4th round. now, the 'knockdowns' in the 3rd round I can see as legit...and even that one in the 4th round that was a knockdown even though there was no punch landed, I could see that as a mistake. but then in the 5th round, the ref starts getting pissed yelling 'STOP!!!' hahahaha. even the foreign commentary was laughing. I really dont know for what reason he was making them stop either. and that was an awful long break after that knockdown in the 5th. reminded me slightly of Hatton vs Lazcano, but this was much worse. I havent even made it to the 6th round yet. haha

ok, THAT has to be the worst ref ever! The guy from the williams/airich fight isn't too far behind. Disgusting stuff, a part of the sport that really is embarrassing. Even though I agree the whole "europe isn't corrupt", I would NEVER fight in Germany. Never. Especially after this. this was in spain, hahah. but still, sounds like some crazy stuff. Airich won't go far, seen him at the nationals over here. He has power especially in his straight right, but apart from that there's nothing special. Ah his promoter is ^^ Ahmet Öner, new on the field but as corrupt as the others.

Both times he deducted points he took off two. He gave Williams two standing eight counts (which probably hurt Airich as it robbed him of his momentum), he allowed Airich to take a longer rest than ten seconds after he was dropped, he allowed the debacle of the promoter ringing the bell, he warned Williams for holding when he was throwing punches with both hands. The whole thing stunk. By the way, anyone who claims to be European or who claims to live in Europe is full of shit. You don't live in "Europe". You live in France or Germany or Belgium or Holland or Sweden or Spain or Italy... Europe is a geographical and political entity, not a national one. Hey how many people cheer for "Europe" in the world cup? Fuckin noone.

Joe Calzaghe has fought 43 times in europe, winning all 43. The only fight that was even close enough to call a robbery was against Robin Reid, but funnily enough it was in Reids backyard, not Joe's. Hatton has never really received a gift either, not in Europe anyway. TBH, the way you talk about it, I doubt you live in Europe at all. It won't happen, I think something like this also happened during Eder Gonzalez vs Juan Martin Coggi 1. There were some shady things like this going on in the Brewster-Krasniqi fight in Germany too.

Danny's corner made me laugh, I think the cutman was shouting, ref ref, beckoning him over for a bollocking. Then the other geeza goes, forget the ref or something. Clearly of the view the foreign bugger wouldn't understand let alone do anything. Joke of a fight. Both ref and promoter should be penalised in some way for that, would like to know what happened.

Danny williams was just too soon for this guy at 9-0. Exactly! Williams is no trialhorse. He is a good puncher and knows how to deliver them. He is still a very dangerous opponent in the ring.
