Not that many chilling punch KO artists spring to mind but i would go with David Haye but also think Kermit Cintron, Valero, Pacman and Edison Miranda are up there worth mentioning.
James Kirkland looks like one to watch
All time favs that spring to mind are Prince Naseem, Tito Tinidad, Julian Jackson, Gerald Mcllelan
Yea, Urango is also a person we forget about.
No doubt Miranda and Abraham are near the top if not the top.
Both guys can stop an uninjured opponent in their tracks with one shot.
Both also have a huge heart and do not give up.
This is a reciepe for one hell of a fight we got coming up!
Pavlik has that accumulative, relentless power. He dosn't hit you with one shot and then its over. He put Zertuche down twice and hit him with some huge shots before putting him to sleep (literally).
Miranda has concussive power, as you can see in the Banks fight (when he put Banks out of the ring) or in the Willie Gibbs fight (turned Gibbs all the way around with one shot). Every time he landed against Allan Green, Green wobbled in that nasty kind of way.
Haye has like a mix of the two. He finishes guys with one shot often enough, but is in tough fights often where his pressure and ability to wear guys down makes all the difference in the world. He has both: the queer street KO's (Maccarinelli, Bonin, Gurov) and the long haul KO's (Fragomini, Mormeck).
Valero has like a really raw kind of power. He comes out swinging and puts guys to sleep instantly if he connects. This is evidenced by the fact that only 4 opponents have made it out of the 1st round. He has plenty of KO's where the other man was simply put to sleep (Hero Bando, Zaid Zavaleta) but also a has shown that his power lasts down the strech (Mosquera, Homno).
My picks anyway.
My top Guaranteed KTF-Outs....
Edison Miranda
Abraham
Myorga
Mentions
David Haye- At crusier weight.. yet to be seen at heavy.
SAM peter- If/Whenever he lands.
I wasn't sold on his power myself until recently. But it's clear to me now, dude definitely packs a wallop. And has a pretty slick move where he purposely misses with a right hand, to get his opponents in place for his left "hookercut." Ayala and Gevor were both KO'd in the exact fashion.
The winner of Miranda vs Abraham II should be rated as one of the hardest p4p punchers in the world, maybe even the hardest if it ends in a decisive knockout.
Never really seen it with Abraham....
you make a valid point

Even though he didnt look as great against Mccline, I think Sam Peters can knock anybody out if he connects.
All his opponents need to do is, hold one glove behind their head to avoid getting caught though.....
Never really seen it with Abraham....

Pavlik is a heavy hitting volume puncher, not a one punch guy. He beats guys up before the KO comes. That is not to say he does not belong on the list, because with his style, he will be able to KO buys that many one punch guys cannot.
I would agreed with that for sure............. don't really see him stretching by with one or two punches. He def hits hard but i'm talking hail mary suzie q kinda power.
