Simple question. Simple poll. Used only to shut morons up who claim he wasn't.
To clarify, as some people are dumb:
Was he hurt and ready to be knocked down (not necessarily out) soon?
I do think its important to get that shoe string tied but under the circumstances (of hatton getting wobbled; and lazcano turning the tables) you DONT stop the action to tie the shoe.
The action was already stopped.
It actually depends on how you define "hurt"...
Was he momentarily stunned? Yes.
Was he seriously hurt? No.
now were splitting hairs...
If not for the shoe string incident i believe he was hurt bad enough that lazcano could have dropped him.
I dont know if at that point in the fight lazcano had enough left to finish him off and get the KO/TKO win but he could have very well dropped him.
I guess when you're fighting in your own backyard and the ref is a fellow countryman you get that extra bias help.

That really wasnt fair to lazcano would was real close to possibly making history and possibly underdog of the year.
Hatton complained about the untied shoe because he was hurt and wanted to get that extra rest to recover from the punches...
or are you going to deny it and tell me if hatton had lazcano hurt and noticed his shoe untied he would have said, "hold on ref; stop the action; i need my shoe tied" or do you think he would have gunned for the knockout...
exactly.
And if you say ricky would have complained about the untied shoe if he had lazcano hurt you're lying...100% lying.

Was he momentarily stunned? Yes.
Was he seriously hurt? No. if he was momentairly stunned it's the same as getting hurt you dumb idiot. some guys are hurt for prolonged period of time, others have better recovery. stunned and hurt, what's the difference? you're in a daze.
Hatton was actually honest like kessler was when Calzaghe hurt Kessler. Hatton admitted he was hurt right then and there after the fight in the boxing interview but of course he didn't say he was close to being knocked down or ko'd. But I think we all know he would have atleast had an embarrassing knocked down if the ref didn't step in. :boxing:
I don't even like hatton but you have to respect hatton for telling the truth even though I think some boxers pretend the cameras not there and we can't tell that they are hurt.
didnt matter what he said
we all saw it.. the people who voted no.. well, those are the kinda people's posts you shouldnt read.. to vote no, you cant really take them seriously..

he was hurt yeah, Alot of fighters get hurt in their careers but it doesn't matter. Hatton get hurt in round 10 and its the end of the world.
dude... the poll says "was he hurt"
it doesnt say.. "was he hurt and please start to bitch about it"
Who are the 10 people that said hatton wasnt hurt?
are you kidding?
He was dazed and stumbled away off balance...
what do you call that? hatton's way of showboating?
come on now...
Floyd was belittling Hatton at his own much vaunted "inside game". If Cortezhadn't broken them so much, there was certainly the chance that Hatton would have been KTFO earlier than he was.
Floyd wasn't beating Hatton at the inside game. There was no "inside game". Cortez was on occasion breaking the fighters before they even got into punching distance.
Stop changing the font and colour of the type, it doesn't make your points any less incoherent.
I think that the warning about the holding was more suspect than the shoelace thing. The shoelace thing was just a coincidence, but I thought that the warning was a little bizarre. Ricky was definitely hurt in the tenth, and along with the third that makes up the two rounds I gave Lazcano. The rest of the time Hatton was rampant when he wasn't being tied up.
What I find funny is how you have backtracked from your stance immediately after the Mayweather/Hatton fight.
I didn't know whether or not it was your silly font that stopped me from knowing what the fuck you were talking about, but now I've re-read it in normal typeface I realise it's just because you're incoherent.
You know that Floyd could have knocked Vicky out earlier if Cortez hadn't, in accordance with the rules of boxing, broken Hatton and Mayweather as much as he did?
No he couldn't. Because he didn't. Floyd was pretty much allowed to do what he wanted, including hitting and holding. If Floyd could have knocked Hatton out whenever he wanted he'd have done it in the seventh, but somehow Hatton kept on coming for another four rounds.
Yeah, sorry Cortez didn't let your boy hold and hit. In the States, we actually make guys fight according to the rules.
Hitting with your elbow, and ducking below the waist is legal? Also why is it OK for one guy to hit behind the head but not for the other? Also John Ruiz. Oh and Bernard Hopkins. Does he fight in the US? Because he breaks the rules in every single round.
Or are you just chattin sheeeite again?
Anyone noticed that the same people who are saying Hatton survived because of the referee in this fight are the same ones who deny ANY bias in the refereeing of the Mayweather fight?
Yeah, sorry Cortez didn't let your boy hold and hit. In the States, we actually make guys fight according to the rules. Hatton tried, he just sucks at it and got knocked the fuck out.
At the same time did you notice the biggest Cortez whingers say nothing about this ref and shoelace Hatton .

I'd contend that Hatton gets hurt in every fight. He defends with his face, what do you expect?
I only saw the fight once, I'll get back to you on the shoelace incident. But Lazcano was more hurt than Hatton in that fight.

Is it a coincidence that every person who's in denial about him being hurt, is from the uk? If hatton comes out tomorrow and says he is the biggest queer ever. You ballhoppers would still make up any excuse to say he isnt.
Hatton said HIMSELF he WAS hurt. Get over it you dickriding ******s.
Yes but the debate is about how hurt he was. The suggestion is that he was on the verge of going down or being stopped which is wrong in my opinion.
