Did you overlook the fact that the mexican..
-Was on the ropes 98% of the fight
-Had a cut/swelling
-Was hitting low blows
-Was heading behind Hattons head frequently also
If the ref was bias he could have easily stopped the fight, either by TKO or DQ
Was he really gunna let hatton trip up on his shoelaces again, just so you americans can jump up and down thinking hes hurt.
Hatton DOMINATED that fight, the only things he did wrong was the occasional lapse in defense, and not knock him out.
Well done hatton :boxing:
how many fighters do you know haven't been staggered in their career?
I think you also have to take into account the caliber of opposition. Lazcano isn't Mayweather.
I seen Hatton totally dominate his opponent.
I think the general concern among dissenters is looking forward, Hatton clearly did not put on the type of performance that instills confidence in his ability to compete at the highest level of the sport. Let's be real, a more active, motivated fighter might have taken Hatton out of there.
While he clearly bested Lazcano, not by the margins they gave but clearly, it wasn't as solid a performance as some might have wanted from him.
My dog can tie shoe laces faster then his corner, I think that tenth round was kinda suspect and on that showing No Way can Hatton try talk about a re-match with Mayweather.
