Mundine is fighting Winky!
Mundine is fighting Kessler!
Mundine is fighting Sturm!
Mundine is fighting Taylor!
Was that all Ultimateboxa or did I leave some of your last 2 months forecasts out?
I'd be a lot less skeptical if Mundine ever makes one of these announcements himself. The only thing we know officially is that Mundine-Soliman III will go on as scheduled.
:puke:
He was on the footy show in Australia tonight. So humble and well spoken. A true ambassador for the game.
Interesting quotes : "my main goal is to become a 6 time world champion across 3 different weight divisions"
"i have developed into a fighter over the past few years, in which i can't see anyone beating me, unless i don't turn up on the night".
Just proving the guys confidence even further.
Im going to make some calls tomorrow morning. Something has been finalised. Whether its Jermain Taylor or not i will keep you guys posted. Stay with me on this im not filling you with some shite, but as soon as i know, you will know.

Conclusion : Choc will step it up. He doesn't get up and run 10 KM's every morning and then train at the gym for 3 hours to continue fighting Sam Soliman's!
I didn't know that he issued a denial. That's ok with some damage control. But the damage have been done and he really should have known better IMO.
Hes not going to get beaten over the next 18 months And if he does it will only be to the best.
The guy really isn't that bad. He does a lot of charity work.

so do these guys

well he's got a fresh start at MW, lets hope he doesn't piss it up against the wall. Even you can only have so much patience!! lol
Wrong. He will fight in the US, or overseas. Its just a matter of time now. In fact it could very well be his next fight.
What Mundine said is blaming it on US foreign policy! And the sentence before he got caught out but he was explaining how some Islamics view it. He further went on to say 2 days later "while Terrorists are part of my religion i have no sympathy for them and do not support the killing of innocent civillians".
The guy does so much charity work in Australia. Its really not funny. Anyways theres a documentary on him at 9.30 Sunday channel nine. Hopefully someone tapes it, it will be a real eye opener for you.

Well at least he knows the meaning of Zakah, I wonder if he is shelling out 1/40th of his wealth??
If anyone brings up the Ottke shit its not even worth a reply.
He was an amateur in that fight going up against a seasoned pro. Enough of that.
As for his remarks on 9/11. Taken way out of context and hammered by channel nine in Australia.
He blamed it on US foriegn policy which was very common even throughout the western world. Put it this way the guy can barely string out a sentence, yet a news broadcasting service gets him to comment on it, before Political professors? Why? They wanted to make an absolute fkn mockery of him because he was a muslim.
As for not going for him? Well that shows your bias here already. Anti-Mundine.
You have to realise here in Australia you have 50 000 loyal supporters of his. And then you have the rest of the country that still think Danny Green would win a rematch. Mundine is by far our best fighter, the most gifted and naturally talented!
I just can't see him getting beaten at MW, when he weighs in at 72.5 KG's and gets closer to 80Kg's before he actually steps into the ring.
On top of that hes a completely new fighter. And while he has failed every time he has stepped it up, im sure that won't be the case in the future. He will dispose of Sturm rather easily, the power difference will be massive. He will fight cautiously against Miranda for a UD (possible fight). Im confident he could also beat Arthur. Against Kelly he would obviously be the under dog, but i wouldn't be suprised at all if he pulls a points win.
Even though he has his detractors because of his arrogance. You can't continually put down a fighter with lightning hand speed, good power and a near perfect defence. Eventually that fighter will achieve great things and it will come back to bite you on the bum.
Mundine is hungry and he looks great in the gym. Over the next 24 months he will rise close to the top in international boxing. Call me a nuthugger? Call me bias? Or just call me someone who has identified a talent, who is reaching the peak in his career over the next couple of years!
You defend Mundine admirably, he really isn't worthy of you. If he fought as fiercely as you defend him, he'd be undefeated. I've been hard on the guy for his comments before, sporting and political, but I suppose I should take in to account his below average intelligence and lack of wisdom (not unique to him in the world of boxing) - he could do with you on his staff as PR, if you could ge him to keep his mouth shut and his options open, he might even grow his fanbase, rather than alienate people. The next two years will make or break him that's for sure
Mundine is a good athlete who lacks the toughness and fortitude to be a champion. He tries to keep his name out there by saying absurd comments and I'm amazed he has any fans or a following.

Wow, if you are ever put on trial for felony nuthugging, the evidence is right here in writing. Lets face the truth. Mundine is all talk. He won't leave Australia. He is fighting a guy who he already beat twice and just KO'd again (Go Sam!). He even lost to marginal contender Manny Siaca in his own home country (yeah, I didn't see it, so lets hear all the excuses). With a supposed "50,000 loyal supporters", Mundine will continue to make a lot of promises but take soft opposition in his home country.
And finally here is that douchebag Mundine's comments about 9/11, in its literal context. "I really feel that it's not our problem. They call it an act of terrorism but if you understand the religion and our way of life it's not about terrorism, it's about fighting for God's laws and America's brought it upon themselves what they've done in history and so on."
How can one believe a poster with no credibility commenting on another guys credibility? It's obviuos that you cannot. Especially when you consider the fact that the uncredible poster comments the credibility of the very credible and highly regarded scott9945.
As for the topic I think Mundine is very naturally gifted and a fine boxer a notch below world-class. I'm sure he's very entertaining as posted by several aussies. Forget the Ottke kayo. If anyone is hit in the right spot the'll go. The Ottke-shot landed on the softest spot on the head, the temple, which is a place where a good shot makes the best fighters lose equillibrium. Mundine fought a nice fight untill then.
Mundines remarks on 911 is distasteful and although one shouldn't mix sport and politics, it's just not possible for me NOT to root for Mundines opponents. And that feeling expands in me when I read Ultimateboxa's constant rumour- and nuhugging streams. I can't help it.
Good post Bat.
You had no credibility to start with.
And the fact that you actually read over your posts to make sure there is no mistakes shows me your sad!

So it is sad that I read what I wrote before I hit send? Aren't you supposed to be a webmaster or something? Unlike you I take some pride in what I write. I don't want to appear to be the idiot you obviously are. Everyone here already knows that you are just a shit talking jackoff. :wank:
Yeh not much in the wings , dont forget we have less than 250 boxers registered Australia wide and a entire population less than New York in a country the size of the USA , so considering we dont do to bad :)
An aussie youngster to look out for is Willie Kickett , shows some talent and might make the international scene .
No not bad at all. Katsidis is a warrior though. He just lost a heartbreaker to Casamayor and is coming right back fighting Jesus Chavez, who is one tough cookie.
I agree. I like Katsidis, but he's not that good. I don't like Mundine and he sucks to boot.
Yeah I like Katsidis and I do think he will do well though. He has a lot of heart and it will carry him pretty far. Gotta like someone like that.
Tell me about it. Boxing down under must be in dire straits right now. Man I miss Fenech and Tszyu. Now they could fight!!

I type at around 90 words per minute. Do you think i give a shit about incorrect spellings? Really grow up!
Your an idiot and you have proven that. By commenting on a fight you haven't even seen.
Say no more. Your credibility is tarnished forever!
:owned::owned::owned:
You're a horse's ass and everything you say is bullshit. It wasn't your "spellings", it was your piss poor English. And a clown like you could never tarnish my credibility. :fuckyou:
Hard to take a guy seriously that was stopped by Sven Ottke.
