Most people are only NOW starting to realize why Floyd ducked Margarito.

Margarito is one of those boxers that isnt highly skilled, but he will take your best punches, and keep on coming. He makes u fight! not box. Floyd saw this and didnt want to step in the ring with this man, and look foolish by losing to someone who he has dismissed as a nobody. Floyd cannot, let me repeat, CANNOT hurt Margarito. Floyd will break both of his paws before he will hurt Margarito. There's pretty much nothing he can do to Margo besides try and potshot him and run. He will fight Margarito the same way he fought Bigshow! LOL Its only now that some fans are starting to realize this. I've never really been a big Margarito fan, but facts are facts. His chin, stamina, power, and workrate will be too much for Floyd. Cotto has the power to slow Margarito down and make Margarito respect him. Floyd doesnt.

Castillo threw more than 1000 punches in Johnston rematch. Margarito threw 1,675 punches against Clottey. He holds the record of ANY division for most punches thrown in one fight. This is one thing that is unquestionable. Margarito has the best workrate in the sport.

I like Marg but.... watch this vid...its only the first 2 rounds...but jsut watch. Off topic.... Cotto doesnt fight like Clottey and wont block Margs shots and will be KO'd. On topic..... Floyd would absolutely embarass Margarito. I think Floyd beats Margarito, and I don't particularly like Margarito either. I am just saying why this fight is interesting even though Floyd beat Castillo, Baldomir and Hatton (pressure fighters). Chin + workrate = a tough night. I doubt Floyd loses to Margarito though.

The only thing that makes this fight interesting is because Margarito has the best workrate in the sport, and is faster than someone like Baldomir. Castillo did pretty damn good against Floyd (even though Floyd has seemed to learn how to fight pressure fighters better), but Margarito's workrate could push that over the edge to the point that Margarito could win enough rounds or wear Floyd down.

People knew this all along. PBF could justify not fightin Marg before cuz he was high risk, low reward. Now he's raised his stock and he's gettin more respect from people. The fact that Cotto and Tony are both doin what Floyd wouldn't do and takin fights against each other makes Floyd look bad, so he really better take on the winner after DLH.
