HALL OF SHAME TO WELCOME PACQUIAO?
San Francisco, CA- A boxing fan doesn’t need a crystal ball to realize that Manny Pacquiao, a box office juggernaut has no intention to fight Nate Campbell, Juan Manuel Marquez, or Joan Guzman. If the Pacman is successful in his dining out endeavor at 135 lbs. with David Diaz next month, he is already poised to flee the lightweight division and go after Ricky Hatton at 140 lbs.
PACQUIAO NOW A PROMOTIONAL TOOL!
At this rate we can expect Pacman to lose to Hatton, this before fighting Oscar De La Hoya in what will be his big fight finale. After this, the Pacnuts should expect a lengthy hiatus to be followed by a comeback in which he will be drubbed by marginal fighters before retiring for good in such a diminished state from a respectability point of view, that the only ones who will even call out his name will be the Pacnuts who cling to his pugilistic scrotum.
PACNUTS KNOW SPIT ABOUT BOXING
Most of the weirdo’s that make up the Manny Pacquiao bandwagon wouldn’t know a left hook from………a fish hook! Pacnuts don’t lack boxing acumen, no, it’s more like they’re totally void of it. The fact that most of these blogging buffoons are under the age of 25 is an indication that they need to take Boxing 101. You see, these clowns who believe that Filipino boxing began with Pacquiao, lack the knowledge of Filipino greats like Flash Elorde, Andy Gannigan, and to a lesser extent Rolando Naverette.
true and he only said the fight with pacquiao might happen if he cannot get a rematch with floyd in 2009.
But If malignaggi loses on the undercard and pacman wins against diaz then the hatton vs pacman fight could happen soon. But I see Pauli winning.
Hopefully Ndou can get Malignaggi's boring ass out of the way and we can see a better fight....
Hatton has already said a Pacquiao fight wont happen in 2008. He is only fighting two fights this year, Lazcano and Malignaggi which would take place in September or October
I remember listening to Pedro's radio show as a kid.
He was supposed to have Mike Tyson on there, but when he had Mike (or someone that pretended to be Mike), people kept calling saying it was an imposter.
Much of the talk has been about a re-match eventually with Floyd Mayweather but that would be back at 147 pounds. Would a fight with Manny Paqcuio coming up from 135 pounds to 140 pounds be an attractive fight for you?
We have not been in talks with anyone about this fight but it is one that would interest me. With two of the most popular fighters in the world this would be a huge fight. With Manny Pacquio looking to come to lightweight and beat David Diaz a step up to 140 pounds could be an attractive fight for global boxing fans around the world. First though, I must take care of Juan Lazcano. It looks like my next three fights are mapped out in Lazcano, Malinaggi and perhaps Mayweather. If the Mayweather fight was to fall through then I would love to fight someone such as Manny Pacquio. My intention is to get back to winning ways, re-establish myself and return to America to fight the best fighters. The first step on that route is Juan Lazcano.

I'd love to see Hatton eat Malignaggi alive. He did take a man-sized ass kicking from Cotto but his mouth just runs way too m uch for what he actually gets done in the ring.
And, I think he only got a belt becuase the 140 divison is so weak. I mean who did he beat for the belt Ndou? A fighter that has lost EVERY big fight he was ever in. Then a fight with Ngoudjo and next a rematch with Ndou. So what.
Hatton will get that ass ....
I tend to agree with you for the most part. The thing I do like about him though is he doesn't play the nut huggin' role of the type you see frequently going on at HBO and with most of the other writers.
You know who are afraid to tell the truth because the want to keep getting their free pass credentials and the free buffet so they just shamelessly continue to suck off the chump promoter and the promoter's chump fighter with no self respect.
He doesn't allow dissent in his columns, he will erase posts of people who are critical of him and he even puts up comments on his own pieces pretending to be someone else hyping his articles up.
I've said it all along, Pedro Fernandez is an idiot. There are a ton of guys on East Side Boxing who are better than him.

How does one duck an inferior set of fighters, to take on a far greater challenge?
I would have responed to this but my man Thread Stealer all ready tapped that ass....
If true Pac runs his career then he is just pissing his shot at fighting the best contenders. He left 130 when he still had busniess there he's might leave 135 after the Diaz fight if he wins, its all about the money fight with Hatton.
The writer is right on, very few pinoys post when pacquiao is not fighting and most don't know nothing. Lousito Espinosa to a lesser, lesser degree was the Manny Pacquiao before there was a Manny Pacquiao. So much that I think Espinosa holds the record for most attendence for a boxing match i think in an inside stadium or was it outside stadium, but it wasn't a paying crowd the governmnet paid for the Lousito Espinosa fight and it was a free fight for the fans. Like I said, to lesser degree before Manny Pacquiao there was Lousito Espinosa....
