Gary Shaw has made an offer to former bantamweight and super bantamweight champion Rafael Marquez for a fourth fight against 122 pound king Israel Vazquez on PPV later this year. According to Shaw, Team Vazquez is already on board, but he has yet to hear back from Marquez or his representative Jaime Quintana. In an interview that will follow first thing on Monday morning, Shaw states that three seperate sources, "who don't know each other" informed him that Golden Boy Promotions is allegedly attempting to lure Marquez to once again become his brothers stablemate.

I have to say for the safety of the fighters, I don't want to see this happen. The first three fights were fights that fighters normally don't recover from, a fourth fight would be brutal but I can understand why they would do it because fighting each other would make them the most money.
Thoughts?
3 fights is more than enough. i know a fourth fight would be awesome but its just too much for them. hope it doesnt happen.
i would like that vasquez fought at featherweight...and that marquez fought de leon and destroy that guy.
:hail: Tye Fields :hail:
i'd like to see another fight but i would also like to see them against other fighters but i would defently enjoy there 4th fight, as it is i don't know if they'll be the same fightersm they have given every thing in that ring in each fight and a ppv fight will give them the money they deserve but it will be a brutal fight if they fight again
Rafa in GBP! fuck yeah! they will do better for him then fat ass gay shaw
I forgot to add that GBP denied those rumors but I wouldn't be surprised if they really were trying to sign him.
Moments ago Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaeffer told **********.com, "We have absolutely nothing to do with Rafael Marquez. We are the co-promoter of Israel Vazquez and that's it. It is absolutely not true. We are the promoter of Juan Manuel Marquez and he is happy with Golden Boy and if Gary Shaw has a contract with Rafael Marquez, what is he worried about?"
