My answer to that is this, Why take the small money when you can cash in? and that is what he has done, the same thing Mayweather has chosen to do. he could fight him now though ffs, he's not gonna get another shot at mayweather, that was the biggest fight he'll ever have, he may as well fight allcomers now he's no longer undefeated, he's got nothing to lose. Had the pleasure of covering a couple of Bradley's fights. He's an excellent prospect - prospect being the operative word. Two years from now he could be a champ; save for one fight (a VERY disturbing performance against Jaime Rangel), he's looked spectacular. Nevertheless, this may be a case of too much too soon for him.

Haven't seen Bradley before but Junior has never looked better, and his confidence is bubbling nicely. But the super-lightweight division isn't great right now, Hatton won't fight him, Paulies fighting Hatton later in the year, Witter should move up to welterweight for big fights im a big witter fan but i think witters days may be numbered. i have been re-watching his fights and even tho his last fight was prob 1 of his most impressive, i saw signs of him slowing down.

People are kidding themselves believing Hatton will fight Witter. He's been saying he would fight witter for years and years now. He said he wanted to fight him when he was with Frank Warren. Then he said he would fight Witter when he left Frank Warren. Then Hatton said he would fight Witter once Junior won a world title. Then he said would fight Witter when the US TV networks were interested in seeing Witter showcase his talents. For the better part of ten years it has been one excuse after another. Hatton is/has been ducking Junior Witter his whole career. I'm sick of Ricky Hatton. He fought 30+ bums to get a world title shot. Fine. Young fighters need seasoning to compete on the world level. But, once you fight Collazo, Castillo, and Mayweather, you don't go back to fighting Lazcano. Lazcano isn't ranked in the top 15 of the WBA, WBO, or IBF and isn't ranked in the top 40 of the WBC. He's only ranked as a top 10 fighter by Ring Magazine probably because he's promoted by Golden Boy promotions (The owner of the magazine).

Ricky Hatton is a two division Champion who besides Tszyu and Castillo, also has also beaten many quality fighters like, Magee, Phillips, Tackie, Stewart, Oliveira, Maussa, Collazo and Urango. Who has Witter beat? His resume is ridiculously weak for someone his age and claiming to be the best. Ricky ducking Bitter is a joke considering he has the superior resume. I still think after all the wining that Hatton will fight and beat Bitter next year and then everyone will just say Hatton only won because he waited for Bitter to be past his prime. To be fair to Witter, Bradley is his mandatory contender and he doesn't have a choice on whether to fight him.

Here's who he's fought :- Zab Judah Andreas Kotelnik (Current WBA Light Welterweight Champion) Lovemore N'dou DeMarcus Corley Vivian Harris Those are decent wins. Kotelnik was a great win and Harris would have been if he hadn't been utterly embarrased by Carlos Mausa earlier.
