You know that one fight you can watch over and over again, never gets old.
Mine is a Classic Tommy "hitman" Hearns V.S Marvelous Marvin Hagler
lol i cant really argue with the hearns - hagler fight coz that was a clasic for the ages.
More recently id go with Barrera - Morales
Chico - Castillo
i have many favorite fights but some i just cant get out of my mind are
chavez vs taylor I of course
Hagler vs Hearns, short but not a single second without action
Gatti vs war I and mccleland vs Benn are also fights that i just cant pass by.
Maywetaher vs. Hatton, now THAT is fun to watch lol
I still watch that fight. I get a big satisfaction out of watching it from the booing of the national anthem, to Hatton getting knocked the fuck out!!!!
Hopkins vs Trinidad never gets old either.
Toney/Jirov. Just a high intensity brawl between the former Cruiserweight king and one of my favorite fighters of all-time. I have seen great, older fighters fold under the type of pressure Jirov was putting on Toney, but James showed why he is one of the best natural fighters the game has ever seen. Just a brilliant display of counter punching and infighting. Both men fought their asses off and hit each other with everything they had.
The 12th round of that fight will always be memorable. One of the greatest final rounds of a fight in the history of the sport. I doubt we'll ever see Manny Steward that animated again.
Williamson vs Byrd. Worst fight ever, bar none.
Ruiz-Rahman was worse. At least Byrd has a little style. This was two out of shape HW's hugging each other for the duration of 12 rounds lol
Fights I watch again occasionally and why.
Calzaghe - Lacy: One of the most masterful performances I have ever seen.
Calzaghe - Kessler: See above.
Chico - Castillo I: If you don't know why, be very ashamed of yourself.
Juan Diaz - Julio Diaz: Toe to toe from opening bell to the moment Julio packed in.
Willie Limmond - Amir Khan: Khan got dropped, I don't like the twat.
Anything with Tyson: Obvious reasons.
Anything with Ali: Again, obvious reasons.
Struggling to think of more, will probably post more when I do.
