Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tommy Morrison

it is odd though how people will go on about how roy was shot when he got ko'd etc rightfully so but only for their favourite fighters... Tommy was a shot fighter when he fought Lewis he didn't have anything close to the fire he had in those first 4 rounds with mercer. I chose Klitchsko but Tommy would have a huge puncher's chance for the first 3-4 rounds and IMO any other heavyweight would of been KTFO'd by the shots Mercer was taking. I was there live for the morrsion/mercer fight and was in awe of the shots mercer took. they were so damn loud it sounded like a cannon going off yet mercer wouldnt go down. his chin was amazing in his prime

If Lewis stops Morrison......Klitschko stops Morrison in a very similar fasion. Emmanuel Steaward would have designed the destruction of the Duke and had similar machines to carry it out. I see a Klitschko-Morrision bout looking very similar to the Lewis-Morrison fight that did take place. I agree 100% :boxing:

Wlad vs Morrison would be a replay of Lewis/Morrison, Wlad would dominate Morrison with the jab and land right hand bombs and left hooks at will...Morrison wouldn't be able to get by Wlad's jab and superior defence, his chin would not hold up to Wlad's power shots. Wlad KO 5 :boxing:

Exactly. If Morrison bombed for 3 rounds I think Wlad would go down. Best chance to get Morrison always seems to be between round 4-6. If he gets past that he Ive seen he can grab second winds. Wlad is one of my favorites, but I think he's overrated. Hell if Morrison fought Wlad like he did Titanic Chin Mercer in the first 3, very good chance. I remember Peter laying bombs on Wlad. No matter what he always had a puchers chance. As I said while I like Wlad but Tommys fights were 10x more exciting win or lose.

What made you even ask this homey? I have no idea. I was just chillin' and listening to some music, drinking some water and all of a sudden I'm like "What if Klitschko and Morrison ever fought?"

This is a prime vs. prime fight.. Who'd take it and how? stylistic nightmare for prime morrison. he couldnt deal with a good jab and wlads size and reach would be too much. morrsion wouldnt be able to land anything and he'd also be gun shy as he was against lewis

Wlad should win this one easily. He'd control the fight with his jab and then knock Morrision out in the mid to late rounds but Morrison would always have a puncher's chance.
