If Calzaghe and Jones dont fight, or Jones beats him (:op: ), Jones should have a rematch with Hopkins.
Its just a fight id like to see. They are both old enough, and finally both in the same division. The fight is a natural.
Who would win?
Hop is done. I don't think there should be any more talk of Ex fighting after 2 Sats ago. Age caught up with him bad against Cal. He tried to squeeze out two rest periods during the bout the shotness got so bad; and did it while trying to conserve as much energy as possible with the super low punch output (he mentioned b4 this is why the Taylor fights look like they did because of the trouble maintaining his MW frame at the end).
You know what's sadly funny when you think about it? Bernard made the same mistake here twice. He had 2 fighters he saw he just knew he could exploit, but gambled on his own bodily limitations. With Taylor, it was that one extra fight at MW he shouldn't have taken, and with Joe, it was that one extra fight past 40 he shouldn't have taken.
I would pick Jones, Hopkins looked his age in the last few rounds of the Calzaghe fight and it's clear he can't punch much more than 1 punch at a time now and Jones' style is wrong for Hopkins.
Roy will outpoint him, I think Hopkins workrate has pretty much declined and Roy still looks a lot busier offense wise in the ring.
This fight will never happen again either way. I'm not sure if other people saw, but on espn Roy explained he already beat a prime Hopkins, so he sees no reason to fight him now that Hopkins is older. He said he sees no gaim from a win or something like that.
r u kidding?? tarver beat jones like 3 times .....b hop destroyed tarver ...eitehr way b hop by late tko or ud
styles make fights
Bhop is tailor made for Roy
It's clear that B-Hop wont let his hands go. His style wont change and he wont start throwing punches. Assuming Roy doesn't get scared of B-Hop's power he'll have an easy UD on his hands by being the more active fighter.
I agree, Roy could beat Hopkins just by outworking him. I can't see Hopkins being powerful or quick enough to test his chin. Roy would fight the way he needs to and win a decision.

I think Jones would win again to be honest..
To active a fighter for Hopkins who would promise knockouts galore
only to fight the same way he has been doing in his previous 5 fights
