World heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko says undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye ‘is nuts’ for wanting to fight him. The IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight titleholder thinks that the Briton first needs to prove himself as a genuine heavyweight contender. Speaking to Setanta Sports News, Klitschko said, "I met this guy yesterday. I’d never heard of him before but he was so loud that I could have heard his voice overseas. He’s a nice guy but he’s so excited about his career and moving up to the heavyweight division and winning all the titles. He’s definitely got a good punch and is a great boxer but he’s just so loud it’s unbelievable. The one thing that he does have already, though, is that he’s very self-confident. He has to have a couple of good fights at heavyweight and, after that, who knows? If he continues to do well then maybe we will fight each other. Maybe Great Britain is going to have the next undisputed heavyweight champion of the world – but only after I retire.”
Imo i think he should fight Vitali next as he looks beatable and then try and take on Wlad, but he had better not fight Harrison next that would be annoying.
As superheavyweights, Klitschkos have been fighting bums for years and no one even cared.
If a superheavyweight can fight HW bums, I dont see whats wrong with a former Cruiserweight doing the same thing.
Harrison beat Danny williams in 3 rounds, Sosnoski:8 rounds just sayin.....

Harrison KO'd Danny Williams in 3 rounds, it took Sosnoski 8 rounds and thats after Harrison and Vitali had brain damaged him.

I agree with what Wlad says here. I think one more good fight with a Heavyweight and he will be ready to challenge Wlad.
(Young, Big, skilled) If he fights an opponent that has 2 of these 3 qualities it will be a good prep fight for him. Dimentrenko is young and big, Adamek is young and skilled, Vitali is big and skilled. Any one of those 3 opponents would be awesome right now.
Thing is, he said it two years ago mate - hence why Wlad has now taken to releasing films to let everyone know how furious he is :D. We're a good way down the road now...

Limey nuthugging cocksuckers like you are the reason I hate David Haye...
- The Gaymaker dosen't deserve a shot at Wlad.
- The Gaymaker hasn't proven shit in the heavyweight division.
- The Gaymaker has way too many flaws and will get exposed before even gets a shot at Wlad.
Get the fuck outta here with your Limey bullshit.
...Oh, but he cleaned out the cruiser division!!!!! Surely he deserves a shot at Wlad. He beat Enzo the legend!!!! He's purty too.
How long do with have to wait??? Two, three years???
If Wlad was so confident of victory, he'd beat his ass now right???
Take away the fact, that this is the biggest money fight going for Wlad at HW. He'd make a killing from this fight!

Chunk and Allucard are sick, twisted nationalists.
Haye is going to get his shot out of turn like we Wlad fans always said he would. Beating Haye will be lovely for Wlad.
If Haye were to try to earn it in the European circuit he would never get his shot. He could never get past Chagaev, probably not past Ibragimov, Virchis, or others.
But for marketability Wlad will give him a fight, AFTER he fights his two mandatories, and IF he cannot get a unification next.
Haye on the other hand? He will NOT fight a top ten conteder. He will fight Rahman, or other shot American name. Any of the live younger HWs would beat him.
Co-sign. Wlad can do his 2 easy defenses while Haye is provin himself against some journeymen. Fight him next year sometime.

LMAO. The more talking he does, the chances of Wlad deciding to fight Haye sooner than later would increase. Keep it coming Haye.
Haye needs to stop talking and get a fight booked. I've heard that he's looking to fight in the fall. Question: Why the fuck all the way in the fall? He just barely broke a sweat against Enzo and could fight several 'stepping stone' fights this spring and summer...

Why would he? Haye is a nobody in HW division, and Wlad is booked till the end of the year with two mandatory defenses.
His management sees it pretty much the same way as us, Haye needs to sign up with HBO, beat(impressively) one of the american guys with a name(Rahman would be perfect) and then they would have a megafight in London in 2009.
As of now though, Haye just does not bring it to the american table in terms of popularity and money.
As of now Wlad is fighting Thompson and Povetkin.
I wouldn't worry about that, Haye's the hottest property in boxing right now after splitting with Frank Maloney.
Haye will tap that American market soon enough, Watch!

Because you would never give Haye a fight?
