If Cotto beats De La Hoya then Mayweather Cotto will definitely happen.

This ie sxactly what I'm saying. Cotto beats Oscar at the end of this year then Cotto becomes a "superstar" and Floyd has no choice but to fight him. If Cotto beats ODLH then Cotto FMJ will happen!

i like DLH in this situation...he's putting pressure on Mayweather...it's a win-win situation for DLH....i'm sure he'll be making money some way if mayweather and cotto fight...

if cotto can beat dlh that will give floyd the financial and legacy incentive to fight cotto. it's what hbo has been planning all along. floyd/cotto will happen 2009.

I felt this way awhile ago, a little after Mayweather beat Hatton, but I expected a Cotto-DLH match to take place in May or September, not a rematch between Mayweather and DLH. As long as Cotto and Mayweather keep winning and they are the biggest payday available for each other the fight should happen. There's got to be a lot of money in order to Mayweather and Arum to work together.

I think Marg should be sufficient enough to get the fight.. if it doesn't happen after Marg then I officialy declare it a duck. Good call. Cotto don't need DLH as a pre-requisite to get PBF if he beats Tony. He should have gotten his shot already.

What happens if: Mayweather does the Indy thing... Cotto beats Margarito convincingly... Mayweather beats DLH Again while Cotto beats Clottey or Mosley in the rematch again... Then Cotto beats Oscar De La Hoya Mayweather VS Cotto would be even more anticipating. BTW In my opinion I dont think Cotto can beat DLH even at this stage, I'm sure many Cotto fans will disagree with me but if DLH comes in tip top shape he has the perfect style to beat Cotto. I think a prime Oscar beats Cotto hands down, probably by KO. I'm not sure if he can win now though, he will probably be a bit drained at 147.
