Theres a good one on tonight on ESPN 2, starting at 9. That bastard that fought Hatton and was able to hurt him to the body, Juan Urango, is fighting Carlos Vilches in the main event. Urango is pretty plodding and one dimensional, but he is a pretty strong guy and hits fairly hard...and hes young, so maybe he has potential.
but more important, Mean Joe Greene is fighting maybe his toughest opponent yet, Joshua Okine, who has faced decent competition and won the British Commonwealth title, which is not amazing, but notable.
interestingly enough, Wilfred Scypion Jr. is fighting on the undercard. If anyone recongnised the name, Hagler knocked out his dad during a time when Hagler was semi invincible at Middleweight. dont think it will be televised, but I thought that was interesting.
That was his father. He said "get this shit over with". No more than 10 seconds later, Okine was wobbled then shortly after that on the mat.
Joe has a ways to go but looked very elusive and actually improved his defense since his last fight. Hell man, he's 22. He'll be turning heads soon enough.
Oh ya, looks like I have a new animated GIF to make. haha
Wow, great fights today
yea, tonight was really good for ESPN! I mean, on paper they didnt look super competitive, but they were all exciting and featured recongnisable names, and thats all Im asking for.
Keep it up ESPN!
btw stick around guys, apparently ESPN has a deal with Showtime, theyre showing Holyfield vs James Toney! This is by far the best Toney looked at heavyweight, he actually wasnt in horrible shape like were used to seeing him. this is a good fight
woow....what an awesome ko by urango.
agree that up to date this and the miranda ko are candidates of ko of the year.
colombian destructive power!!!!!!!!!!!!! :boxing:
Isn't Esther going toretire? Hopefully she does Playboy or something before than.
Yeah I think she did to finish school or something like that, but with a face and body that fine she'll no doubt be in demand and probably be back.
