Hes only 31??? thats prime years for most your fighters, i guess he has fought great competition for so many years i thought he was older, but man 31? thats nuts.
what a fucktard espadas clearly won that fight

ultimate warrior thinks you need to watch that fight again. erik did more than enough to win 7 rounds. the judge who scored it 115-113 had it right.
Well, Morales has been in tons of wars of course, but let's not forget, it's like the lower the weight class, the shorter your lifespan is in boxing. You need to be quick and have sharp reflexes in the lower weights to compete, as well as tons of stamina. If you don't got that, these light young guns will tear you up. So take that into account, with the fact that your body doesn't want to lose the weight as easily which makes making the lighter weight more difficult, and that Morales has been in a war in nearly all his fights. He's a young car with tons of miles on the odometer.
the only reason erik got criticism for that fight is because he fought very cautious...probably his most cautious fight ever...thats why people who where expecting more of him were delusional on their scorecards imo...he even stole some rounds he did almost nothing with flurries that made espadas look awful...
Yea maybe i was overdoing it there but i need to watch it again, i dont remember it being very eventful thats for sure.
I thought Espadas just pulled it off but thats just me, also the ring said it was robbery of the year or something like that, i need to go back and watch it im just going on based when i saw.

The only other one that comes to mind is maybe the gift he got against Espadas in the first fight.....i have no clue where theres 11.

Morales should technically have like 11 losses
Explanation?
Barrera twice (with a win and loss going the other way each), Pacquiao twice, Raheem, Diaz (which most people say is a bad decision)... who else?
not just money but fanfare.
Fuck yes. I can't identify with Morales at all really. He is a poor kid, where I am a suburb kid (which is the same type of background that both Winky and Vernon come from to my knowledge). He doesn't speak the same language as me... it's just really hard for me to automatically like Erik Morales as a person, but what he does in the ring has totally and completely made a fan out of me. Incredible, incredible fighter. My favorite Mexican fighter of all-time, and it is far from close.
I'm a tad curious... is Jorge Arce your second favorite fighter?
I finally got around to watching him fight Hussein Hussein on the undercard of Morales-Pacquiao I. That dude definately has the style that you exclusively watch, so I was wondering if he was your favorite fighter behind Antonio Margarito. No one can ever replace Margarito, I know :luvbed:, but I thought he was a logical choice for second place for you.
Arce by the way was on the Mexican Big Brother show by the way. not alot of people know that.
we lose one true warrior but other mexicans will step up to give the fans excitement in the next generation of great mexican fighters.

Erik morales damaged himself with going to wars but at the same time he gt alot of money because of his wars so he can retire in peace.

You got a very good point there.
