WTF is wrong with you people?

Was not a great performance by joe, but hopkins used every trick in the book and looked tired from round 7, I think if it wasn't for hopkins acting in round 10, the last 3 rnds would have been very one sided. Funny how hopkins was in so much pain and then went out and had the best round he had for ages in round 10, after his nice long rest. Calzaghe won ud hopkins only won the 10th in the 2nd half of the fight in my opinion. Joe did what he had to do, he can go look good in his next fight, beause lets face it who can look good against hopkins, a prime jones couldn't even do it! Hopkins put on a good as performance as he could, so good job to one of the best fighters of his era, but his comments after the fight were shameful to the say the least

Most certainly don't want to see a rematch. Agreed. Maybe Calzaghe did not win convincingly. But Hopkins definitely lost and needs to shut up and go home.

How can Calzaghe be as active as normal when one guy is clinching and won't let go of his fucking arm. Fuck a rematch, Calzaghe beat Hopkins in America that says it all. kinda agree. joe won fair and square and there's no need for a rematch because the fight was boring. though not as boring as i thought it'd be. the only thing i disagree with this statement is that you don't have to emphasize "in America". fighting in America doesn't mean automatic robbery you know. i'm neither a joe or nard fan so i'm objective when i say this. to hopkins fans or joe haters , it wasn't a robbery. it was an ugly fight that's hard to judge. yes hopkins landed the harder shots but most of you were the same guys that said joe couldn't punch for shit. yes joe missed a lot on his punches but hop has excellent defense and he threw a lot more punches than bernard did by a wide margin. he landed far more than hopkins did as well. to calzaghe fans , congratulations feel free to talk as much crap as you want especially considering how much crap you've guys went through on this board the last few weeks. just don't go overboard too much. as great a win as this was joe is NOT no. 1 p4p. to say so is just ridiculous. floyd has fought far better opposition and is far better skilled. i know the guy doesn't always fight the best but neither has calzaghe. aside from that i have nothing more to say aside from , "I hope I never have to ever watch these 2 fight each other again. It was a lackluster fight."

He won in America not in wales, no robbery at all. And he can beat any other fighter in America since he just beat one of the best defensive fighters in the sport.

The rounds were fairly close but the fight was not.

Joe C clearly won, the 2/3 of the American judges thought so, including the studio, the audience, and viewers. Get over it. Can't quite work it out, I could have sworn when looking at peoples avatars yesterday, 6/10 it had an American state in there. Yet today after the fight, it's more like 1/10. Wierd.

6-7 years ago Hopkins asked too much money to fight Calzaghe, same thing with your favorite fighter Roy Jones Jr did the same shit to Calzaghe. yes cuz hops and jones wanted the bigger share of the pot which they deserved cuz they were the much bigger names. calzaghe would've still made more money fighting them 6-7 years ago than he ever did. it was calzaghe who didn't accept the offers from hops and jones. I doubt very much that they were scrared of him.

how was that a clear winner of the fight, B-hop/Joe was an extremely close adn difficult fight to score, Joe was no where near as active as he is known for despite coming forward, and B-hop didnt seem to do himself a favor by being more active and he held a bit Round 1 10-8 hops (no he did not rush Calzaghe down the only reason he didnt fall on his ass is cause he held onto B-hop) Round 2- Hopkins edged it Round 3- Hops Round 4- Calzaghe edges it coulda been a draw round Round 5- Calzaghe Round 6- a close round for Hops that also coulda been a draw round Round 7 the only round i could not give to either fighter, joe came on with them weak slap combos but B-hop landed a right hand that wobbled him Round 8- Hops barley got it Round 9 Calzaghe Round 10- Hopkins Round 11- Calzone Round 12- no fighter seemed to really want it lmao i gave the edge to calzaghe so i had it 6-5-1 in favor of Hops, it coulda gone either way but those wide scores for calzone were stupid as sin i think Hopkins got it, Hopkins by holding and not being active will hurt him cause people in general dont like that style so the casual fans will rip hopkins and say he lost which clearly isnt the case, Calzaghe did come forward and pressed the action which helps his cause however he was NOWHERE near as active as he was in other fights and NOWHERE near as effective and u dont score points by just comign forward you gotta do soemthing i call for a remacth quick edit for the record i watched the British broadcast on sentana 1 live and the brit commentator himself said you couldnt argue if it went the other way Calzaghe clearly won, let it go dude. It was a 4-5 pts winning margin.No coincidence that the best judge with the most experience had it by 5pts to Calzaghe.Take away the flash Knockdown and its almost a shut out.Imagine what would have happened in Wales.

Hopkins was moving back a lot but it was movement not running, he held a lot to but i don't know why your moaning about this as everyone knows thats how he fights. It was close I though Bhop landed more clean punches and had the much better defence but held to much and couldn't keep up a high work rate. Joe did well when he was jabbing moving in and out but he was a bit wild at times and open to the straight right. I don't mind Joe winning but there was no way that it was not a dominate display by any fighter. So how the fuck is Joe meant to look good? He won the fight. This is elite boxing with two old masters. Why does JC have to dominate / Ko him to get credit. He ground it out.Props
