Juan Manuel Marquez vs Joan Guzman, who wins ?

Guzman, Marquez fights at too slow of a pace for the in and out Guzman.

JMM would outhink Guzman who is getting better and better. Who knows when this fight is made things might be different.

This would definitely be an interesting fight. I wonder how JMM will handle Guzman's foot and handspeed. JMM is a very intellegent fighter so I think he would find some way to win. It's hard to say though because at the same time I could see Guzman winning.

I'm a believer in styles making fights, and while I think JMM is the better fighter, I also think Guzman has the style to make him feel his age. Guzman by decision.

technical battle? the only technical fighter is Marquez... Guzman is a fucking marathon runner that slaps And Marquez is a point fighter that never punches unless the other guy does 1st. Not much to counter at if Guzman is already halfway across the ring by the time he decides to throw back.

I favor JMM in an easy and convincing UD. Guzman will eat counters all night.

i think it's a bad matchup for juan manuel. it'll be a close fight though.

I favor Guzman in this match-up. JMM always have difficulties with slick boxers. Chris John's long jab and lateral movement made him look so ordinary. Even Gainer had his moments vs. JMM, only if he wasn't chickenshit scared to throw punches. I reckon Guzman's style and hand speed will give Juan fits.

guzman is the best 130 pounder in the world.. ill bet all my point he beats any super feather and lightweight in the world..

Guzman. He's alot faster & has better defense. This fight was proposed for JMM late last year & he tried to fight Barrios who Guzman beat fairly sound. So that should tell you how they feel about a fight with Guzman.

Right now JMM, in a year or two, Guzman.

If I had to pick I'd pick JMM too.

i would give JMM the edge because I'm confident enough in his intellegence to figure out a way to counter Guzman's speed.
