Should Cotto/Margarito be held in NY or Vegas?

Why wouldn't you come to Vegas?? I'm only 19 so there would be no drinking nor clubbing, at least in other cities I can kick it and see the sites, where as Vegas looks to be mostly Casinos.

if its the arena then its about 6000 people and the paid attendance for that fight was 5309 so not bad considering he still was largely an unknown until he beat Kermit prior Link to attendance figures now forward to the time he fights Williams which is about 16 months. Paid attendance was 8000 Link to Margarito Williams attendance so while he is not on the level of Cotto he is growing his fanbase by a bit It was about a lil over 2 years ago so you might be right. He probably does have a bigger following, at least I hope. He's going to need it no matter where he fights Cotto.

I think the fight should be held in Chicago Chicago has a large mexican and rican population. I think the atmosphere the fans would provide by rooting for there respective fighters would add excitement to the fight. When I am watching a fight on t.v. I always enjoy it more if the crowd is loud and evenly match with supporters for main event. Sounds good because the atmosphere would be explosive, but we all know that the fight will take place in NY.

Cotto will sellout MSG with this fight. A real ticket seller would be Cotto v.s. Chávez Jr. in Mexico.

Margarito's following isn't THAT great....I went to see Margarito vs Gomez and the lil theater in the Planet Hollywood (old alladin) wasn't even filled..I would say Chavez jr had more fans there than Margarito. Viloria also0 fought as did Calderon and I'd have to say Jr. had the most fans...I could tell by the Masses of people waiting to get in line to take a pic with him. Since that theater is made where Everyone has to come out the front and Margarito was the last fight the crowd waiting for him was about 30 to 40 people. Yeah I hope its Vegas we don't want to see another Fraud or Referee towards the Puerto Rican crowd no offense to Puerto Ricans, But I think the crowd will try to win the fight for Cotto each time he throws a punch and its blocked I can already see that shit happening , I really hope there is no One sided Fight and the Ref protecting Cotto for reals all the time or if he gets in trouble to pull some stupid shit like Cintron when he was getting hit in the head he made the ref stop it for a bit. , I felt the Ref was leaning more towards Cintron and the Rican Crowd, I hate that shit , Mexicans always get screwed over, It should be in Vegas Neutral territory and dont give me the It's Marg's backyard cuz Marg is not even that famous as he can be yet, I really hope this doesn't happen kinda reminds me of when Mexico comes and plays on U.S soil in soccer and gets phuked over and over by bad Referees, Again no Offense to Puerto Ricans I respect Miguel as a Champ and has done lots for boxing and the sport, and is one of my favorites. Saw Miguel Cotto live at the Garden in 2005, and last October against Shane Mosely. These isn't an empty seat in the whole Garden!!!!!, They even gotta open up the rafters where all the retired Jersey from KNICKS and RANGERS are hanging! You gotta wait like an hour just to get a beer!! PS; Margarito fought the same night too! Agianst Golden Johnson. Alot of dude were rooting for Margarito.
