cotto's jab has improved big time......the more i analyze this fight the more i lean with cotto.......

True, but you said box and move. You can't move very effectively against a hard puncher with a long reach who throws over 100 punches every round. You can if you keep turning your man. Remember, Margarito wasn't able to throw 100 punches a round early on. Why, because of jabs and effective southpaw movement. Margarito was made for Williams' style because he walks in the front door. Quintana was bad for Williams because he came in from angles.

Margo is great when you stand in front of him , if you can box and move he turns into a robot that punches slow . Oh yeah? When did that happen? Williams beat him with a fast start and volume punching, not movement. A rematch would tell a different story.

The Clottey fight was weird because both fighters were injured. Clottey is suddenly getting press again. He didn't look like all that in his last fight, he looked kinda gassed in with a guy maybe in the top 50 , and then by default he's suddenly, somehow back in the picture Here's the thing, people can say Margarito lost to Williams because he started slowly, but I figure Williams' jab wasn't doing Margarito any favors in initiating his offense.

He tends to look better against Cintron, though. Against Clottey, we didn't see that same fighter. yeah but he was a slow starter then. And was coming off a year layoff and fighting on an injured ankle. Still managed to break compu-box record for most punches ever thrown in a fight in any weight class that night. For not fighting in over a year and beating clottey should say alot about him. And throw away the hand injury claim as clottey has said it was just a bruised knuckle.

Margarito proved last night once again why he is the most feared man in boxing. This man is an animal, hes a machine that cannot be stopped, hes the "creme de la creme" Mayweather dosent have shit on Margarito, the only man who has a shot at beating this monster is Miguel Cotto. Tony didn't get off enough early against Williams to win, but he made sure he smashed on Cintron beginning to end. At his absolute best I'd pick him over Cotto. Maybe even Floyd although both closely.

Margarito isn't feared, more like ignored...he's a limited fighter who needs people to stand directly in front of him to look great, any type of movement or quickness/"boxing" throws him off, just like cotto...good but not great, let's be real here.
