Glen Johnson got robbed, American boxing is a joke. And Nate Campbell almost got robbed against Juan Diaz. One judge had Juan Diaz winning that fight even though it was cleary campbell who had won just like its pretty clear that johnson was yet again robbed. After staying up to watch 'the next big thing' Chad Dawson, I have come to the conclusion that American boxing is a complete joke. With a population of 300 million people, the best fighter at 175lbs you can produce is Chad Dawson. The man got beat up by a 39 year old Glenn Johnson who has had numerous wars throughout his career and made Dawson look like a bum. The usual JOKE american judges gave the money man Dawson the fight. When will you people learn that all your fighters are fakes. They are either on steroids or get gift decisions from judges. There is a reason why American fighters dont travel, forget all that mecca of boxing bullshit which it hasnt been for 20 years, its because your JOKE fighters might have to actually win the fight legally. Now all your hopes rest on Hopkins, one of the most overrated, dirty fighters in history, and that man Mayweather, who likes fighting guys he knows he an beat whilst avoiding any real competition. if i remember correctly calz is pretty old and he ownded kessler. dude im not a floyd fan but come on he owned hatton and everyone of those people in england was saying that hatton was going to KO him. look what happend? come on man face it. the best in the sport is an american until either a cotto beats him or he retires and someone else takes the top P4P list.

Mecca of boxing B.S.? United States is the mecca of boxing. Most of the biggest fights in the history of the sport have been made in the United States. And American (and Puertorican, and Mexican, and every other fighter who wants to make a name for himself) do travel... from Las Vegas, to New Jersey, to MSG... where do the best in the world fight the best in the world? didn't glen get robbed 2 out of 3 of his fights against woods? bad decisions (or crooked ones if you prefer) goes both ways. it's not an american or british thing. the fact that americans don't go to other countries to fight is because there's more money out here than over anywhere else. the klitschkos are huge in germany but once they got their name they fight here now. hatton got his biggest payday fighting here. hamed came here. lewis fought here. it's a money thing not a mecca thing. scotland invented golf but all of europe combined struggles to beat us at the ryder cup. and as far as having 300 million people and not having good boxers it's because boxing is not a popular mainstream sport in america anymore. that's why you notice less and less kids taking up the sport. very few gyms let alone good gyms are around much anymore. with the popularity of basketball and football (american not world football) most kids want to be the next michael jordan or joe montana. less and less kids are even playing baseball now which is suppose to be "america's sport". i'm sure in britain most kids now want to play for manchester united or be the next david beckham rather than be the next calzaghe or hatton.
