Will Cotto be effected 2nite by the punishment Mosley gave him?

Mosley's most meaningful win in the last 4 years was against Vargas and Oscar beat Mayorga who beat Vargas. The Mosley-DLH 2 was a bad decision...plain and simple. Oscar lost to Hopkins and Mayweather...Mosley would lose to both of them too. To say either looked worse in their last fight is an exercise in futility. Cotto and Mayweather beat people in much different ways. DLH and Mosley are basically even in terms of their competitive abilities. How is Mosley more of a credible opponent then Oscar when hes 2 years older then Oscar,and Mosley looked much worst then Oscar did in his last fight? Mosley looked better than Oscar you fool. Mosley is definitly better then DLH right now. I don't know how you can't see that. IMO I has Mosley winning the fight against Cotto or atleast a tie but I don't know how they gave Cotto the UD wins, probobly because of Mosley winning the close rounds. If you watch that fight, Mosley cut Cotto from inside Cotto's mouth which allready was opened with the Judah fight. He did take punishment and the Judah and Mosley fight proved that he was cut where he previously was. Mosley faught great with Cotto and in a surprise he was the pressure fighter after the 6th round but Cotto was landing the more effective punches. Just to show how close it was they both landed exactly the same punches which was 248 by the end of the fight. The problem with Mosley's corner is his trainers never know exactly what round they're at which makes a difference because they can't tell Mosley to put on the pressure if they don't know what round it is. So I think he will be slightly effected if Gomez can go for more effective head punches and open up another cut inside Cotto's mouth but I don't think it will happen.

Bottomline is you can't keep almost getting knocked out your whole career. If his diet isn't super, that shit is gonna show at any time. Also in his shorter career he's taken more damage then ...yeah Money Mayweather. Gomez has got a good chance of pulling off an upset ifb he and his corner can get him to utilize his abilities as the naturally bigger man and capatilize on Cottos mistakes, They say a Champion has to be ready for the challenger to come in 110% better then he's ever been. I think it's gon be a great fight. Plus if Gomez wins , I'm gonna start watching the contender.

Mosley was 36 not 37 and you are giving him way too little credit. Mosley is a more credible opponent than DLH at this point in his career. I think Mosley and DLH are about the same. Mosley just gets a lot of credit because he beat a beyond shot Fernando Vargas twice. Let's be honest with ourselves and admit that in reality the DLH-Mosley series is 1-1. DLH beat Mayorga who also beat Vargas and lost to Hopkins and Mayweather. Mosley would lose to both of them too. We'll find out a lot about where Mosley is at with the Judah fight. If he does anything short of win a convincing fight against Judah then Mosley is probably still about even with DLH.

I disagree the only fight were Cotto recieved brutal punishment was in the Ricardo Torres fight, in the other fights he just recieved the "normal" punishment every fighter gets in a boxing match. I have to disagree and I think you're believing what you want to believe. In most of the fights I watch people don't have to resort to hitting low and aren't bleeding gulps of blood from inside their mouth by the end of the fight. I don't think it'll have any effect on Cotto in the near future, but he's taken more punishment than most undefeated guys. He finds a way to win and is usually strong at the end of the fight, which is the most important part, but he takes a lot of punishment.

Landing over 50% of power shots is no joke. Only time will tell. LoL if a 37 year old Mosley who punches with his eyes closed can land over 50% of power punches, imagine what floyd will do who actually choose his punches wisely Mosley was 36 not 37 and you are giving him way too little credit. Floyd wont fight Cotto, he is not willing to put his legacy at risk and Miguel Cotto is without a doubt the biggest threat to Mayweather. If you wont admit that, than please provide me with the name of a more credible and deserving opponent than Cotto.

He went into FULL RETREAT MODE against Lovemore N'dou and was sticking the jab and staying on his back foot against Ubaldo Hernandez for a few rounds. It's happened before and he came back strong. Cotto is getting to the point where he's been in a few wars and the wear and tear could eventually become an issue. He went life and death with Corley, Torres, Malignaggi, Judah and now Mosley. I doubt Gomez or even the Cintron-Margarito 2 winner are going to be the ones to expose any wear he's gotten, but it could be something to think about for Cotto moving forward. I still think he'll be ok for a few more years. nope he didnt get all that hurt cotto hasnt got the best chin we all know that so he does a lil dance here and there but he comes back strong almost everytime. If it was diego corrales R.I.P and castilo type of fight with mosley then i wud defo say that he would be affected but it wasnt.
