A couple options. If he wins, fight Pavlik at 168. Or either Jones or Dawson at 175 if Dawson can win his fight with Glen. He's gotta beat B-Hop clearly or he'll owe him a rematch if the fight was good. If he loses decisively he's finished. If he loses closely in a good fight or is robbed go for a rematch.
After Hopkins is retired on April 19th he should return to SMW for his last fight at that weight against Pavlik. Then for his next and maybe final fight he should fight the top dog at LHW whether that be Jones, Tarver, Dawson, Woods, etc. His next fight after Hopkins won't be till the end of 2008 so after that fight he should fight whoever is the number 1 LHW at that time. I'm not even gonna try and predict who that might be.
I know it's not the best matchup in the division, but I would love to see Calzaghe-Jones Jr. Both guys are unorthodox as shit and it would prove to be very entertaining. Expect speed.
Fight Woods, providing he gets by Tarver of course. It's also a tougher fight than a Roy Jones bout.
Also Woods deserves a big payday, i think he's earned it.
Peter Manfredo jr. REMATCH!!!
lol
If he defeats Hopkins he should fight Dawson (if he wins saturday). Of course only if he cant get a rematch with Manfredo......
