Where is Chris Byrd?
Perceptions change once a guy gets beat, then every excuse from he was shot to he was weight-drained come into play. I hear Byrd is coming back but not sure when or against who.
I notice a lot of people thought Byrd would run the division. Maybe he just ran into the wrong guy.

Where is Chris Byrd?
looks like he fought his first two fights around lt heavy then moved up to cruiser than fought as a small heavy for the rest of his career.
Asian you really think a 40 year old Byrd can move over 35 lbs south of the border and be successful? He'd probably have to get a spot on the Biggest Loser just to make weight!
Byrd walked out of the gym last week weighing 180 pounds according to a report I read.
I dont see him being succesful. His speed and reflexes are already deteriating. At 175 he wont have the same advantages either, and I doubt his power will increase that much.

While he would lose the speed and agility advantage he had in the heavyweight ranks, he will gain that back in the power department. I never really felt like he fit in with the other heavyweights. Perhaps he'll do better at Light Heavy. Although if he loses at 175, it may be time hang em' up. He's probably got a good pile of money to retire on.
It depends on how much he has left, I think he can do good at 175, he should have better power there and his speed should be OK and we all know the man can take a very good punch.
Would like to see Byrd at Light-Heavy first before making any judgements.
Against Povetkin, he still seemed to have most of his handspeed, but his legs looked shot.
If he can adjust to the weight without any problems, think he could still be a major force in the division, even with not so good legs.
Byrd is such a smart fighter, & he should actually have the power at Light-Heavy to keep opponents off of him without the need for moving around too much.
The guy's nearly 40, he won't be dominating. What makes you think his body can adjust let alone dominate after such a drop in weight class after so many years at heavyweight?.
I agree. If Byrd was going to do this, it should have been five years ago. Of course I'm not talking about money since Chris has made millions. I just doubt that his reflexes will be sharp enough and he doesn't have the power to bail him out of a fight if he falls behind.
I dont see any pur boxer better than him Besides ROy I have him beating Roy TKO he walks through his punches and punishes him, Bernard or Calzaghe no chance Dawson no Chance, Who will beat him is the question
He will fucking dominate please belive it, here is a hint there punching power in the LHW aint shit to CB after fighting all them HW GIANTS he will walk through their punches & dominate with that triky style he has
