Does anyone care about this fighter?

At 160 he is the only realistic threat to Pavlik, I know that. Arum has to make the fight.

It was cool seeing Winky blow up in '04 and spend the next few years gettin some big fights and actually makin most of em entertaining. But he killed himself looking so dull aginst Hopkins and losin that fight, even though he did fight well. Now his luster has faded out and he refuses to take any fight that won't pay him some ridiculous purse he ain't in position to command. I'd like to see Winky fight again but if he don't man up and face somebody before fall I say fuck him then.

There's no big fights left for him. Pavlik (or his promoter at least) doesn't want it, after Hop beats Calzaghe he's not gonna want it (and why should he? He won already and he's 43 with nothing to prove), Calzaghe win or lose will likely retire, Abraham's not a big enough name to mean anything, Tarver wants 175 belts and is part of the 4-way tournament at that weight so there's no one for Wink to pick off... Plus he just isn't interesting. He bores me and he bores a lot of people. He puts you to sleep when he talks. Sure, his fighting style is more aggressive and pleasing than it used to be, sure he's incredibly skilled, but to be brutally frank I'm just not very interested in seeing Winky Wright. Bottom line.

Where In The Hell Is Winky Wright? Winky is one of my favorite fighters, I heard he's gonna fight Mayorga @ 154. Mayorga is also one of my favorites, and it's a bad fight for him. It's gonna be a replay of Winky-Trinidad.
