7 ALLAN GREEN 26-1 (18)

Talkin super middleweights wit some peeps right now, so I decided to grab the top 10 rankings off the Ring site and throw em on here. Mix and match any of the names you want and talk about what might happen if they fought. I notice Miranda ain't in here but he could make good fights wit these guys too so feel free to add him into the mix. Winky and Tito too. Who ya think will take over after Joe C moves up?
I wanna see Taylor face Lacy. Old partners, new enemies. Could be a good fight and both need a win in a good fight. I think Taylor beats Jeff in that one. Already seen Kessler against Mundine, but another time or him against Bute crowns the new champ so do it up. Mikkel would win either. Also wanna see Andrade get his shot against Bute since he won the eliminator. No matter who he has to beat to get it done, if he stays at SMW I think Kessler's gonna be the man soon.
Taylor and Lacy were former olympic team members in 2000 i think.
Although Lacy is clearly the bigger man, i think Taylor would beat him in a landslide UD. Taylor/Miranda may be an interesting fight down the line.
I find those ratings with Green a bit weird.
I'd put Bika at 7, Taylor at 8, Miranda at 9, Green/Inkin at 10. Green hasn't been impressive lately and Miranda dominated him. Why isn't he ahead of Green?
Hey abadger, when you said Taylor and Lacy 'old partners' what do you mean by that? Do they know eachother? If you could inform me on that please, wasn't aware lol.
I'd like to see Froch take on Andrade or Bika, so I can make up my mind about him, lol.

lol, sorry man. *smacks head*
Sarlick: I'm a big Calzaghe fan so Froch annoys me sometimes the way he calls out Joe. In truth tho, he's dangerous, but I still think Joe wld handle him well. I def think Froch will win a world championship, maybe a lot of U.S fighters will underestimate him, still, saying that I can't see him staying unbeaten and unifying.
Any thoughts on him urself?
I'm one of Boxingscene's 'rare' Froch fans. I say rare as i try to stay unbiased. Not like the countless nuthuggers that patrol these boards.
I love the fact he annoys people, especially Calzaghe fans. I think, deep down, Carl knows he cannot beat Calzaghe, but just wants a big payday.
He does however, pack immense power, which he undoubtfully knows. Problem is, he has no defense, which leaves him far too open for unnecessary shots. His chin hasn't really been tested, but he has shown no trouble from some brutal knocks.
Beating Inkin, which i'm certain he will, is a step in the right direction to hopefully land a decent fight. I know the fight is an eliminator for Calzaghe, but Joe, realistically, has a few fights left and will be looking for the big names depending how he goes against Hopkins.
This will hopefully land a fight for a title with the likes of Bute/Mundine/Miranda. Against the rest of the division, i think it's safe to say nobody can beat Kessler, but, with an improved defense, i'd pit him against anybody else at SMW.
Also, i've met Carl on numerous occasions, and he is a real down to Earth person. A top bloke.

taylor, miranda, and kessler are the future of 168.
After Hopkins beats Calzaghe he'll probably go back to super middleweight and fight for a while. He's still going to be the champ in that division and will probably try rebuilding from there.
If Hopkins beats Calzaghe I'll be taking my own life.

hopkins is going to get battered, calzaghe will throw too many punchs and in later rounds hopkins will be tired and clazaghe will ko in round 10 or 11
How many times do I have to say Lacy is not that good. I think #5 is high for him.
He didn't look good against Manfredo or Tsypko, and Cal owned his ass.
He's been injured on and off for a while, so that is a contributing factor too.
I can't believe the Lacy hype train still exists.
Exactly. That shoulder-injury is serious business at I doubt he will ever be the same. As far as Kessler goes, well thats in the balance. A lot of mixed signals regarding his next move. Should he go to LHW it's a case of Titanical mismanagement IMO.
I don't even think Froch knows how good he is.
He looks like shit then produces a world class punch.
A la Brian Magee...thats one of the sweetest uppercuts I have ever seen.
Lacy and Taylor were teammates on the US Olympic Team in 2000. Lacy won his world title in the pros first, then Taylor, then Viloria. They knew each other in the amateurs.
Oh right, never dawned with me they were on same Olympic team. Of course, haha. Thanks
That wasn't me, it was Mangler. I don't know what he means either.
lol, sorry man. *smacks head*

How far do u think froch can go?
Based on what little I've seen, he's a mid to good level fighter, at or slightly below the level of say Sakio Bika. Might be able to get a title, but elite level, no way.
