Casamayor vs Juan Diaz

Anyways id take Diaz by a UD, a somewhat close one. If its the Casamayor we saw saturday. If its the old Casamayor, then I'd take Diaz by a stoppage, 11th round.

Guys i think were selling Casamayor a little short here, this guy gives everyone problems, other than the Santa Cruz fight which he could care less about and prob didnt even train he has been great, i am a huge Juan Diaz fan but Campbells experience obviously overwhelmed Diaz, Casamayor is better fighter than Campbell so idk....

Definetly wouldnt be an easy fight i guarantee thatd go 12 hard rounds with either a controversial draw or a decision.

Casamayor is in his late 30s and had a life-and-death war with a slower, less skilled guy in Katsidis. No way does Joel have an easy time with Juan.

This is a good matchup i think Casamayor has the edge as of right now, Juan needs to bounce back mentally from that Campbell loss sometimes that can be very tough.

i still like diaz by ud if this one ever happens, despite his recent loss. joel looked awesome against katsidis though, and showed a hell of a beard. i hope it happens at some point soon.

I doubt it. If Katsidis was able to outwork Casamayor enough to overcome his double knockdowns in the 1st round, I think Diaz could easily do the same thing. Unless youre talking about David Diaz...then yes. wait..what about Julio Diaz? that would be an interesting fight
