I can appreciate that point of view as well.. However, I'm in my mid 30's now and I've taken alot of lumps at this point. All kinds of life changing opportunities have passed me by. Some of them were the decisions of others, some of them were simple twists of fate.
At a certain point you realize and accept that all that shit is just good old fashioned destiny. You can't do a damn thing about it. As close as something seemed it was never going to happen. I don't care if it's right in front of your face.. A man owns up that fact - so I disagree with you there.
People die over nothing, lives are destroyed.. Life is fucking raw.
When Marquez vs. Pacquiao II ended I noticed that Manny tried to greet Juan Manuel in a gesture of sportsmanship and brotherhood and Juan Manuel sort of brushed him off. To me that looked like a fuckin punk move, and I'm a Marquez fan.. Juan Manuel was already charged up and vibing mean.
That's what I saw.. He was already acting foul before they gave it to Manny. Juan Manuel was ready to explode.. I don't like what I saw..10k for you lol.
When you compete in a sport at a high level and you lose you naturally take it poorly. Especially when that sport is extremely emotionally involving and focuses around being punched in the face. They aren't whiners, they are men, and they are competitive.
Any of you play sports growing up? Don't give me that sore loser shit either.

damn, some people cant let shit go. just because people are split on the fight, Filipino fans HAVE to find something else to complain about. the fight is over, ANOTHER great fight happened yesterday, why dont yall talk about that one? are you guys boxing fans or just Pac fans?
I often wonder that as well.
I feel every fighter has the right to feel emotional after a fight, some call them crybabies and whiners, those are usually the people that have never put there heart and soul into something as rough and tough as boxing.

Points to those who can articulate well. Discuss...
Not compared to team Diaz!
The Pac vs Marquez fight was close but the reality was Marquez went down which lost him the fight, had he taken more chance he may have pulled it off either way both fighters deserve respect. I think the "whining" is a result of waiting for so long for thin rematch and after coming so close to victory they reacted the way they did. Its a human reaction. I thought the fight was a draw actually.

Marquez put his heart and soul into a fight he had been wanting for over 4 years. Arum was already lining up fights for Pac even before the outcome, and in a close fight where his belt was taken, i dont think there was any other way for Marquez or his team to act, and they thought something shady had happend. Now with many others agreeing that Marquez won the fight, and Pac dismissing a rematch (probably the biggest fight out there for both) I can see exactly where team Marquez is coming from and would be just as upset. JMM is a winner even in "defeat", I just hope people acknowlege his place in history because all of his losses could be seen as wins.
I have to acknowledge without any suggestion, without any outside references - the bitter reactions of both Juan Manuel and Rafael coming so close together in the last few weeks is just too much to ignore.
I'm a fan of both guys and would have enjoyed seeing both of them being declared winners, but their reactions seemed unfitting considering the legitimate closeness of the fights they were in.
Particularly Rafael, who appeared to lose his fight fairly clearly, and yet somehow managed to act like he was the victim of a Santa Cruz or 88' Roy Jones Olympics style robbery.. That was offensive.
The Marquez' interpreter/handler guy was the one bitching in both cases so he made it impossible to miss, or forget..
The Marquez brothers weren't just angry or frustrated, they were overtly emotional.. I don't remember seeing anything like it in Boxing for quite awhile -if ever.. Calling them whiners or cry babies would be completely fair all things considered. They know damn well nothing will change the outcome.
Hate war? that's being presumptuous. Nobody's hating just plain boxing discussion LOL.
Anyway, I assume you don't agree that they are bunch of whiners so please leave... lol
No. Why? The fight was close.
You know this kind of thread will start a hate war.
When it's a close fight like that I don't blame any fighter who whines. Every top class fighter feels he has the skills to win every fight and you have to be confident and yes even a little cocky to make it in this sport. These guys are in a sport where 1 loss can do massive amounts of damage to one's career, only the special one's can continue with a few loses here and there, I don't need to name some I'm sure you know a few. He felt he won, he has every right to, when you give as much as these two guys give in every fight especially in a close fight how can you blame him or any fighter for complaining a little bit? Most fighters whine when they lose a close fight, you know this.
It was a closed fight that can go either way. No need to start another hate war.Hate war? that's being presumptuous. Nobody's hating just plain boxing discussion LOL.

LOL i'm talking about facts not of the would have could have should have.

Bro, the fight is over. I am sure if Pac lost, Team Pac would whine too. Its not only JMM too, there are fighters who whine when they get defeated in a close fight.LOL i'm talking about facts not of the would have could have should have.
