Tell me why and I might give you some points depending on your explanation. I'm feeling generous today after that pac close win and I want to share the love so line up cabrones.
JMM landed more shots but I believe Manny won the fight because of the more effective punches, whenever Pacman landed it stunned JMM in his tracks, which really grabs judges attention. Aswell as he pressed the fight all 12 rounds, constantly bringing the pressure which also is another thing that judges look for. And ofcourse the knockdown! :)
I have TWO reasons
why is the girl in your Avatar looking at her arse like it suprised her?
she's saying
'eh, what the fuck?, where did that bitch come from'
Pac won just by being the harder puncher and the aggressor. When a fight is close, the judges always seem to favor the perceived aggressor just because he's coming forward throwing more power punches, even if the fist to face contact is pretty much equal on both sides. That plus the knockdown stole it for Pac on a night where he was outboxed, just like the first fight. But obviously even Pac's huggers can't claim he dominated and won hands down.
I dunno about being the aggressor, maybe more power, but not the aggresor. Jerry Roth scores on Aggresion most fights and he had it 115-112 for JMM, as so did I. Still close fight thou, with close rounds, so Im not gonna complain.
The knockdown and the fact that JMM did not capitalize on the badly cut eye of Pac in the 8th. He should of gone for the kill but I still think JMM won the fight.
No point for you then for being honest haha!!!
Round 1 is about to start so will give points to the rest tomorrow.
Pac won because of will power. He just wanted it more in the close rounds even when he was cut. JMM put up a great fight and wanted it as well. Pac just showed a lot of heart pulling it out.
I watched the fight on sopcast. That means that my scoring should be taken lightly, as the quality is pretty poor.
But I thought Pac won 114-113, because of that KD in round 3.
To me it was quite obvious right from the first round that Pacman had such a strength advantage that it shouldn't be fair.
Marquez was kind of reluctant to punch, nearly so much that I could almost call him scared in the first 3-4 rounds.
Of course he wasn't scared, just very wary of Pac's power.
It disappointed me that Pac didn't take advantage of this by being a little bit more firm and aggressive in the first 5 rounds.
After the first 4 rounds, the fighters got into their grooves, with JMM becoming more confident in his ability to counter and possibly hurt Pac, while adjusting more to the power of Pac.
But even so, Pac was the aggressor, driving Marquez back without even punching so much. Alot of the close rounds I gave to Pac because it seemed to me he did more damage with the straight lefts than Marquez managed to do with his often wild counters.
I had expected Marquez to have a proper defense for the left hand of Pac, but he didn't. That cost him the fight in my eyes.
I was actually a little surprised how tentative Pacman became after being hurt the first time. He seemed to be having second thoughts about throwing punches.
This is what made the fight so close IMO.
to be honest prof, i'm quite suprised by the decision, i thought the SD was going to JMM....
a win is a win nonetheless....
but as the others have said, maybe it's Pac's power that won him the fight... i think the judges can relate it to the impact everytime pac lands a punch. i could say it's entirely different when your watching it up close, than watching it on tv...
I had Pacquiao winning because in the close rounds, JMM was waiting too much to counter Pacquiao and sometimes let Pacquiao let loose 5 punches before he responded with 1 of his own, so basically I gave him some rounds because he was the busier fighter. I also felt he landed the more powerful punches in the fight and that won him some of the rounds I gave him as well.
Both of them fought very good fights, I felt JMM should have jabbed a bit more but overall very good showings from both of them. JMM showed that his skills were mostly still there and Pacquiao definitely showed improvements as a fighter, both offensively and defensively.

Personally I believe Pac won do to telling left hands that won him the CLOSE rounds. Look there were some close rounds and rounds that JMM definitely won. However these close rounds go to Manny Pac due to a good straight left that landed when the round was up for grabs. Great fight between two warriors. Kudos to the both of them for that show. Oh yeah that KD made a difference because personally I ahd the fight 114-113 in favor of THE PACMAN.10k going your way buddy
