Roy Jones is about to waste the last few years he has left fighting Markus Beyer, an inactive washed-up former SMW champ.
It's a damn shame from this fans view. He should fight Kessler which would generate trans-atlantic mega-buck.
In an interview on ESPN in the build-up to Calzaghe Kessler spoke about future opponents. The interviewer dialed up RJJ who said he wanted a shot at Kessler. Kessler was quite reluctant saying that he didn't feel like fighting his idol, which sounded like a nice way to say that he didnt want to knock the legendary Jones out (according to The Fightwriter).
Kessler by vicious KO.
Roy Jones has NOTHING left in the tank.
For some reason the die hard nuthuggers think Roy has a chance against an active young and hungry powerful fighter ?
The guy couldn't even handle a Blown up inactive wELTER who he made come right up to near LHW.
The Roy fans need to get a grip.
Quit swingin from roys dick... you talk about this dude more than anyone else.. nobody likes u here... nobody
Some of you RJJ fans are vastly underrating Kessler.
Kessler is more than a 'solid fighter', he is an extremely talented fighter with a lot of skills. RJJ would need to pull out a primetime performance to get a decision over Kessler or score something of a fluke KO, as Kessler seems to have an excellent chin.
Kessler to win by TKO around round 8, or a lopsided decision.
Calzaghe is in a different league to them both at the moment, he beats them both by a wide margin. Would be a good fight, but sadly it would be about 10 rounds of Roy trying to avoid Kesslers power before he gets caught and stays down.
Before I get any hate off the Roy fans, Roy looked cautious in his last fight too, against a WELTERWEIGHT, at LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT. Tito wasn't troubling Roy, yet Roy still looked scared of getting KO'd again. If he fights like that against Kessler, the Dane will break him down and stop him, probably by way of a brutal KO.
this is why haters shouldn't have opinions cuz their opinions are severly tainted. I didn't see any fear in roy against tito. its not that big a deal that tito game from welter. that little tid-bit is only for the haters. tito was a powerful puncher at welterweight so that should've been enough for him to atleast be somewhat dangerous at light heavy. roy wasn't scared of him at all. he just put his gloves up to block punches. I guess I would have to be a hater with a clouded mind to see the non existent fear that you saw.

Are you referring the part when he was blocking his shots and then hanging his chin out and shaking it in titos face?
Or when he was dancing on the ropes and bangin his body inviting tito to come in?
I really dont think fear had anything to do with roys gameplan in all honesty
