Best fighter Oscar has fought?

there were a lot of good fighters in that list and I haven't seen all those fights so I can't pass complete judgement however I would say floyd mayweather is the best person I have seen DLH fight.

In his long successful career there is no doubt Oscar has fought everyone he needed to and never ducked anyone but who is the best fighter he has fought? At the time he fought him, Shane Mosley (2000). Trinidad would be second. If you're going by careers, then it would be Hopkins, Whitaker, or Chavez. All three of those fighters were past their primes when Oscar fought them.

I'm confused as to whether this is the best when they fought or just the best in general? It's an incredible list and just shows that Oscar truly fought all the best fighters of the last few decades. Anyway, I thought we were talking about the best in general, so I picked Sweet Pea.

Toss up between Pernell and Floyd.. but wasnt Pernell past his prime when they fought? If thats the case, Id have to say Floyd.

REED Voted for Floyd Mayweather... He was IN or CLOSE to his Prime when he Fought DeLa....Bernard, Sweet Pea & Chavez were Arguably AS GOOD or BETTER than Floyd, but they were All PAST their Primes when they Faced DeLa... REED:boxing:

I'd say Mosley. Whitaker was past it so I didn't include that one. Floyd is up there as well but don't think hes up there with Shane. Hopkins as well although that fight is iffy.

I voted Pernell Whitaker. I think wittaker was past it when he fought oscar. Although it was a close fight, that shows just how good PW was I put Floyd cause a lot of those guys were old ish and floyd wasnt an i think he is better than the other guys there
