Why do you have to be a Cotto nuthugger to believe he can beat Mayweather?

We don't know until they get in the ring now do we? Remember Floyd had a close fight with Castillo and everybody formed their opinion based on that fight on what would happen between him and Hatton. Hatton was supposed to be bigger and stronger and put more pressure on Floyd then Castillo did. And we all know what happened there. Comparing a 5'10 Delahoya to a Cotto? Delahoya right now beats Cotto if they ever fight. I agree with you. And the thread starter IMO doesn't have any credibility rocking a Cotto pic in his signature. Clearly biased :ugh: Especially when he insults people and rolls with the "owned" smilie before anyone even replies.

i guess we will never know because that coward mayweather will never dare get in the ring with cotto margarito or any real fighter.I don't see it that way,he's coming to the end of his career and I can see him taking on the best out there to complete his legacy...................as a man I think he's a wanker,but as a boxer he aint no coward in my opinion.

Cotto definitely has a chance if he can heap pressure on Floyd early on,but Floyd is a fucking tremendous boxer and unless he has a bad night at the office should win the fight.....anything can happen tho it only takes one punch.

Anyone that says Cotto has no chance, hasn't seen the man fight lately. A couple years ago, I wouldn't have given Miguel much of a chance. I still see Mayweather winning a close decision, but you can't count Cotto out. Cotto's victories over Zab, Quintana, and Mosley were much more impressive than his bouts when he was younger. He has improved with each outing, and I don't think his chin can be questioned anymore. The Mosley fight was very close, and I think that Sugar Shane (even though he's my favorite active fighter) is almost a poor man's Mayweather at this stage of his career. I hope to see Mayweather-Cotto, and wish that Floyd would take him on instead of fighting De La Hoya again.
