WHY havent he never been consider a top 5 fighter yet after 7 years...??? *Something is wrong with this picture.... If Cotto is so good then why isnt he getting NO RESPECT... *He has been a pro since 2001 and still havent been consider a top 5 Fighter yet... Can somebody answer that question please... I am talking about in the WORLD ... FUCK A division Jose Luis Castillo is number 4 in his division right now and he is Shot... I am talking about in the World.... After seven Years why hasnt he reach the level of one of the TOP 5 fighters in the World... Floyd did it in 3 years after turning Pro... Whats taking Cotto so long if he is fighting better competition..??and if he is suppose to be able to beat floyd... As I mentioned.. MOST fighters DO NOT MAKE THE TOP 5.. That does not however mean they suck.. After 7 years Cotto has achieved more than MOST fighters do.. If you are asking why he is not P4P top 5 yet, then fair enough, but... When you say no organization has him in their top 5, you must forget that the champion of one organization will not be found anywhere in any other organization's ratings system. The WBA has him as their champion, which means the WBC, IBF and WBO are completely disinterested in him. He may very well be top 5 P4P in 2 months by the way, and because of him beating Gomez. But after two months, 2 of the top 5 P4P fighters are going to inevitably lose, because #2 Pacquiao is fighting #3 Marquez and #4 Hopkins is fighting #5 Calzaghe. If both losers drop below Cotto, he will be top 5.

My definition of special is more restrictive of your definition of elite. Some kind of WOW that you feel, when you see them fight. Obviously if some dont know shit about boxing, they will go WOW for any succesful slugger. u forgot the /boxer :boxing:
