It depends on a couple of things.
If he is able to beat Floyd in a grueling see-saw match where there are several knockdowns then look for a Trilogy. If he beats Floyd by easy KO or not very exciting decision, then look for him to face Cotto, if Cotto is still undefeated. If Cotto has lost, then look for him to seek a fight against Cotto’s conqueror.
If De La Hoya loses by KO to Floyd, then I expect him to seek an easy, going away fight.
If he loses another close decision to Floyd then expect someone like Chavez Jr.

i would guess tito but the weight could be a signifigant issue
They could agree on a weight if they both wanted to make the fight happen.. I think both guys are happy with the way their fight went into the books.. Neither guy really lost too much face regardless of the loss to DLH.. I'm pretty sure both guys would take a loss to one another very close to heart. DLH would rather lose to Forbes 10 times before losing once to Tito. I really hope they both grab their balls and make it happen. That's really DLH's only unfinished business at this stage. I'd also like to see DLH fight Spinks or Cotto.. I'd only want him to fight Cotto after Cotto fought PBF(regardless of whether or not he beats PBF)
What like the 12 round, non-stop beating he gave him in the first fight? Your ignorance is truly unbelievable :nonono:

A fight with Pac would be ridiculous IMO. A fight with Trinidad would make sense, but I wonder how much weight Trinidad would be willing to cut.
Trinidad would have to come down to 154. I don't think Tito will ever fight again anyway. I mean Oscar would beat him regardless. Simply because of "ring rust." I mean he took 3 years off and stepped in with a bigger man who's been fighting. So, Oscar will always be around as long as people want to make $12 million...Hell, I'd fight em!! :) :)
Steve Forbes! Since Forbes is going to brutally KO him.
I wish.
Probably Trinidad. That would be a huge event and an easy win for him.
Steve has nothing but bad luck. The judges have been pushing his shit in.
I dont think Tito De La Hoya was a runaway robbery like alot of people say. It was a lousy fight because De La Hoya was effectively very defensive but there was so little to go on in the early rounds you could see giving some of them to Tito. De La Hoya had some decent rounds in the middle and than ran at the end. If you ask me he deserved to lose that descision as much or maybe less than he deserved to get it. you got to do more. It was actually nice to see the judges stand up to the De La Hoya machine, not reward coasting.
I like to think Trinidad but can Tito still make 154? I doubt DLH will fight at 160 again.
yeah, the weight is the only thing i am not sure about, and could be a big reason it is not tito! i think tito would come down for the huge money of an oscar fight though!
I think it could be Trinidad and wouldn't be surprised if it were Pacquiao considering all the talk that's been going on about making the fight in the past few months.
