I'm sure anyone with simple boxing ability can beat a 16 years old, teenagers don't know how to fight, have you seen all those vids that are all over the net.
He wasn't 30 pounds heavier and he's actually 6'5. Just b/c your born with those attributes doesn't mean you can use them well, you can either be born knowing how to use them or train to use them right. There have been many HW who were very much taller than there opponents and lost decisively. An example of a guy who couldn't use his reach and height to his advantage was (although not a HW) Paul Williams. So again sure his size helped him but he was trained by the best to use them to there fullest potential.
you are quite right. and how many opponents were shorter than tyson? you know my point - size will not necessarily trump skill. i wish more people here could have met the people i have met. opinions would change dramatically.
I could do that if i was fighting a 16 year old teenager or if i was a mutant and was fighting a normal HW. Don't you realize the part being almost 7ft tall and weighting over 30 pounds more than his opponent played in that?

being afraid of being hit by sultan.
he wore sultans right down with sissy slaps. so it must of been the left he was fearful of.
those weren't sissy slaps you moron. they were a basic application of what we call splitting or chopping fist.
are you sulking because your guy got shut out by a fighter who could've basically tied one hand behind his back.
maybe you are not used to seeing SKILL. if a fighter can dominate another with one arm............
Wlad dominated, but he should have took more chances.
Ibragimov diden't take chances either because he knew he would have been ko'd. Made the fight very anticlimactic, which in turn made all the dumbasses start crying on this forum.
Duddy fight was very good so that might have made the Klit fight look even worst, like Lampley said. "win tonight, look good next fight"
I think Wlad has spoiled us by how frequently he knocks out his opponent. It wasn't an exciting fight, but Wlad was excellent with the jab and controlled the distance the whole fight. Sultan landed no meaningful shots in the fight and Wlad got in twelve rounds of work and looked like he could've went 15 easy. That being said, if he truly wants to be recognized as the HW champ, and bring fans back to the sport, he has to do more.
I can't explain why he was so gun shy with the right hand. But i must say his defense was nearly flawless and that jab can be considered a power punch. I give Wlad a B+ for the performance. He barely got hit and dominated with one punch. And when he landed the right hand it was catastrophic.
I'd like the people calling this the worst heavyweight title fight ever to sit through 15 rounds of Ali vs Jimmy Young. They deserve to.
agree! i have seen that fight. and only my love for dissecting boxing fights kept me awake during it.
yup gavinz. people act like this is the most boring fight ever.
does nobody remember TOS vs byrd? how about most mayweather fights?
guys like mayweather jr and klitschko dominate so thoroughly that it will seem boring to people who have no real fighting experience.
but, wladimir has a gigantic hilite reel of ko's. so anyone saying that he is boring, or a bad champ, has either seen only one fight(this last fight) or has such a boring life that trying to start arguments becomes entertaining.
props to all of you(and me, of course) who stayed with klitschko even when he lost.

you act like you have a point there. you don't.
i boxed a fellow who was app 6 inches taller and 80 lbs heavier. i did not come out a loser.
and besides your apparent dislike for the heavyweight champ, your basic mathematic skills need some work. thirty pounds? do you mean 19? and almost 7 feet tall, do you mean 6'5", 3 to 4 inches taller depending on where you get your info - which from what i gather is your own imagination.
you need to REALIZE that klitschko is so highly skilled he can beat a skilled fighter with his right hand tied behind his back.

19 pounds more than his opponent actually (238 to 219) and on Conan Wlad says he is 6'5". Ibragimov is probably closer to 6'1" than his listed 6'2", and he is considered a small heavyweight these days. Sultan is a crafty, quick, southpaw with decent pop and has made all of his opponents look bad so far, so tonight was no suprise.

....Yeah, all these guys talking shit can suck my dick and I have no respect for them. Wlad dominated that fight and did what he had to do. Granted, I wanted him to make a statement that would have made him huge, but he played it safe this time. Amazing to see a guy dominate and get hated on like he is in NSB. What a bunch of douches huh?

shutup your mouth
'technical destruction' please
One thing to think about, what other HW around can win a fight with his jab alone and throwing like 6 right hands? I was still bored but I was still impressed that he was able to win with such ease.

People act like Ibragimov was some bum tomato can that Wlad was supposed to squash. The guy was a silver medalist in the Olympics (only because the great Felix Savon won gold,) an undefeated world champ, a very quick southpaw with decent pop (which he showed KOing Javier Mora in 46 seconds.) No one paid to watch this fight, yet they are crying like they just dropped 60 bucks. I still thought it was more entertaining than Floyd/Baldomir (which was PPV.)

I agree 100%...Wlad dominated Sultan like a surgeon and he won 119-109 on my scorecard...The haters need to shut the fuck up.
