"Vicious" Victor Ortiz needs to get fighting

He needs to make a move. Ive followed his career and the kid can fight, but he needs to get a stay busy fight or something soon. He was rumored as a possible opponent for Ricardo Torres but i dunno how thats going. He should get a spot on Boxing After Dark or something like that. How about "Vicious" Victor Ortiz vs Juan Urango on B.A.D? Or Ortiz vs Gato Figueroa or something? Anyone know what Ortiz is up to? Manager problems? Injured? Or just sitting around? Anything?

That's great news. He seems like he would be a good fit at GBP. He did to Maussa in less than a round what it took Hatton damn near the whole fight to do, and Maussa is a tuff SOB, whatever he is.

I was talking with him on saturday morning after training, he was with Garcia in Oxnard. He said he is fighting May 3rd in the De La Hoya undercard. He looks hungry and ready..

Trust me Ortiz Is hungry his like @ 150 lbs which is 10 away from 140 lbs his running every morning and training like a beast!!!!

I've heard he is having problems with Top Rank. Lets hope he doesn't have to sit too long. I also heard that Ricardo Torres turned down a fight with him. Ricaro already knows he is just keeping that belt warm, he will lose it getting PAID.

He got DQed because the guy was holding him and and the ref said brake @ the same time Ortiz threw a hook and KO the guy and the ref did a female move and DQed him.

He hasen't trained @ La Colonia for a while because of problem's with robert garcia...his training @ the wild card gym.

No I could almost promise you he wont join GBP. He trains at la colonia gym, and works with all the same people that used to work with Vargas, and they despise Oscar and his company. SO its like a 99% chance he wont join GBP.

Victor Ortiz Is my dawg and dude told me his having alot of problem's with top rank cameron dunkin (his manager) so that's manly the reason he hasn't been fighting but hs training his ass off every day!

Hes turning into a great offesive fighter. But he is still young. And he needs to work on his defence.
