Can Hatton beat Quintana?

This is a tough one to call. Hatton isnt at his best at 147. Collazo gave him a very tough fight. I think Quintana takes it, barely. Quintana doesnt have great stamina, and Hatton will probably win most of the last rounds. The question in my mind is if Quintana will be able to win enough early rounds to win the decision.

Quintana outboxes Hatton and wins by UD or possibly even late TKO...We all saw what Collazo did to Hatton...Quintana is a slick southpaw like Collazo with more power...Hatton is a top dog at 140, but he is too small for 147...Hatton needs to stay the hell away from 147 or he will get embarrased again.

I voted Hatton. I don't think Hatton will lose another fight, btw. Mayweather will be his sole loss.

Hattons pressure may get to Quintana. And I question Quintanas stamina and heart. Tough call, would be a good fight.

Quintana is okay but let's not overrate him on the basis of a win over a vastly overrated fighter who is about as much a welterweight as I am an astronaut. agree but at the same time u can't say he's sorry because the guy just won his belt.

Hatton wouldn't tire like Quintana did. Hatton would continue to pressure him and make him quit. Just like Hatton made Kosta quit.

if roboto cotto . Do you really think Cotto is robotic? lol. I consider him one of the most languid professionals stylistically. There's never any herky jerky movements, and he stays perfectly on balance with full momentum when he throws combos or lead punches. It can't be.....because he's 1 D. Possible Hatton might get a gift decision like the one against Collazo, but I doubt it. Quintana by UD, or he might even stop him late. I'd probably have to see how good Hatton looks in his next fight to decide fully though. Personally I think his lifestyle, his drinking, his blowing up between fights, and the amount of damage he takes with his style of fighting, that he is on the decline and doesn't have many effective years left.

This a tough call. The pressure Hatton put on Floyd the first 6 rounds was unbelievable. He gave him no room. I can't honestly say many others could have been as composed as Mayweather. His mauling style is very hard to overcome if you don't have good inside skills. Quintanna did well with Williams because he was able to get space and counter Williams. Hatton doesn't give that kind of room. And Quintanna was visibly tired after 7 rounds with Williams. It's just that he did some timely clinching and sucked it up and finished the fight off. When Hatton puts on the type of pressure he likes it's very hard to get in a rhythm. You basically have to exclusively become a counter puncher which is Quintanna's game. I see this going identically as the Collazo bout where a flash knockdown was the difference.

Quintana is one of the worst champions going around. Sure Hatton wins. he just won the belt u idiot.

Hatton has one hell of an inside step, he sticks to Quintana, who is actually pretty big, and gets to him.
