Duddy IMO has the least chance of beating Pavlik. He gets hit plenty and has no experience against real elite.. Eastman is pretty washed up. I think brawling with Pavlik is a bad idea so Duddy's done. Wright could provide a major problem but Pavlik's volume and stamina could be the deciding factor in a bout with Wright.
I think in this last fight with Taylor, Pavlik showed he can be beat. Taylor showed how to beat him and was winning the first couple of rounds using his great jab. If he only had power in his right hand and didn't run out of gas he would have won.
It really depends on how long pavlik can stay at middle. If he can stay there for another year and half then the only person that will trouble him will be Andy Lee, but that is a long way down the road. At this minute in time i cant see anyone beating pavlik at middle
I dont think anyone at 160 will beat him, now some around 160 may have a chance.
Taylor if they fight again always has a chance
Lacy if he can get back where he was
Andre Ward maybe in a year or 2
Calzaghe even though i hate him
Hopkins
Wright
Roy Jones Jr
Jermaine Taylor is much better than anything in the middleweight division besides Kelly Pavlik.
Pavlik will now now rule the middleweight division with impunity.
Pick one:
Duddy
Abraham
Miranda in a rematch
Hopkins
Wright
Trinidad
Forrest
Taylor (robbed and actually won their rematch)
Yeah, you just named top fighters in the division. Congratulations. Unforunately, a lot of those CAN'T beat Pavlik. Wright has the best chance followed by Abraham, but I'd still favor Pavlik in those fights.
A long shot but Danny Jacobs?
Pavlik will likely be gone by the time Jacobs gets a shot. Abraham has a punchers chance, that's about it. Winky has the best chance, but I don't think he can still make 160 and he's getting a little long in the tooth.
Lol at Hopkins still being able to make middleweight.
Abraham has the best chance.
Yeah I totally disagree.
I think Wright has the best chance of anyone, and Abraham's style would be tailor made for Pavlik. He moves straight back and relies on his athleticism to escape punches. He has nothing that resembles anything near a conventional defense. Wright on the other hand would pick off pretty much everything Pavlik threw, and not to mention he probably could take his punches.
Pavlik who is a hard, straight puncher would have a field day against the fighter who does have the habit of moving back.

Their is nobody at middleweight that can beat him.
If he wants he can unify all the belts and be the king of the division with nobody in sight that can even compete with him at 160.
