Is Taylor finished??

I think Taylor can beat anyone in the 160-168 divisions NOT named Pavlik,Kessler or Calzaghe or bute. i think a fight with any other top ten smw would be competitive, but i can't see taylor ever being undisputed champ at 168. he can still be in great fights though

No way is Jermain finished. Winky has no one to fight. That could settle that draw of theirs. He could fight Abraham,Kessler, Forrest(if he moves up). I'd like to see Taylor-Wright 2 or Taylor-Kessler

I don't think Taylor is finished. I'd like to see him work his way up the super middleweight rankings, he shouldn't jump in with the champions right away. He should test the waters with some of the other contenders, for example Allan Green or Sakio Bika. I got to say that Taylor's style is very awckard. Because he is prone to not punching and moving straightback at the same time I think any fighter that has a high work rate would have a chance at beating Taylor.

Sure.. But Pavlik has a pretty soild Chin.. which might have made Taylor's power seem less.. So what I am asking is.. Can Abraham and Miranda handle Taylor's power??? I think since Taylor would be fighting off the back foot against Miranda, it would be hard to tell. In fact, I think Miranda would make moderately short work of him........he'd just get hunted down. Taylor has a much better shot at beating Abraham in my book. Because Abraham is the more classical boxer puncher who will fight off the back foot, and Taylor could catch him when he's moving straight back..........lol Which Abraham does. But I don't see how Taylor could take repeated flurries from Abraham if he does in fact land those. He's like Carlos Quintana. I'm not sure if he'd have an easy fight against Wright in a rematch, and I'd honestly say that Abraham and Miranda both would have a great shot at beating him. Because both can punch and we've now found out the truth.........that Taylor has problems with big punchers. Nobody knew because he had never faced one his entire career. taylor is far from finished. if you watch the fight he was actually winning a lot of it. as a percentage of the winning minutes i would say it was 60/40. taylor was busy but pavlik came out on top in the end.

Pavlik outpointed him and Taylor has only himself to blame. If he threw punches, he wins. It is simples that. Yet he'd only fight for 30 seconds total a round. He's so much better than Pavlik that sometimes that was even good enough to win rounds, but in the end I had it 115-113 Kelly. He's obviously not done though. If I was him I'd be looking for a Miranda showcase matchup on HBO. It would be just like how DLH and Tito came back to Mayorga.

the typical question after a fighter loses a fight or 2 or 3 or 4....especially a young fighter...many good and great fighters have been in this position...many have faded...many have come back... my opinion is no...he is not finished

where does he go from here on out?? does he still have a shot at becoming champion ever again?? he fought well last night by utilizing his jab more, I'd hate to think this is the end for him. I think he'd do ok up at smw, the only problem there is that kessler is at 168 and he would beat taylor worse than pavlik did the first time. I'd favour taylor to beat, miranda, bute, froch, mundine, lacy and green but as i'd said before he'd come unstuck if he fought kessler.
