Lol I think Bernard is trying to get under Cal's skin by angering everyone else. At a certain point you have to give up on the notion that Hop "really knows what he's doing." It's nice to be generous in interpreting other peoples' actions, but I think that generosity is getting to the limit of reasonableness in this case.
