I just left a Don King live chat. It doesnt let you copy and paste but heres pretty much what was said.
Shane Mosley has left the Ricardo Mayorga offer on the table, he turned down "the bigger half of the money" (later was said to be 55/45 in favor in Mosley). Carl King also said that it made him very suspicious of Mosley to move on to a Zab Judah fight so soon. A Ricardo Mayorga fight would produce much more money than a Judah fight would. So Shane Mosley is in all likely hood taking a possible million dollar differnce in choosing Judah. Its clear that Shane wants no part of Mayorga.
More likely is that Shane is afraid to sign any contract with Don King's name on it. He wouldn't be the first one.
I dont know, Don King has had thousands of fights. Im sure Shane and GBP would get thier money.

Maybe Shane heard public reaction to a potential match with Mayorga.
It was Shanes people who started the talks. Do the people really think a Judah fight is better? lol
Shane would body Mayorga.
Mayorga just swings away. He has no real boxing skills. Easy win against Mayorga.
Just off speed alone Zab has a chance if he gets his head screwed on right.
They were suppost to fight when Mayorga was the welterweight king, but spinks pulled off the decision against Mayorga.
This fight would have been awsome. Regardless of how Mayorga acts his bad guy act sells fights. Shane is prabobly thinking that two losses in a row wouldn't make him as marketable anymore. I'm thinking he wants to get a sure win, so he chose Judah, and than follows up with a super fight with Mayweather/DLH winner.
