Probably a silly question, but say if Joe unified LHW, would Floyd gamble on Joe struggling to get back down to 168 and call him out?? I'm not asking for the result (I think Joe would be too big) but to me I would give Floyd major props for even entertaining itand I'm sure people would pay to watch it for a myriad of reasons
What sense would that make ??? Floyd is known worldwide Joe is only known by boxing fans and Europe. Face it, if you arent a known boxer in the U.S. you are not a star. Calzaghe picked to wrong guy to fight here on our soil Hopkins will prove that the british boxers all have padded records and have to be executed just like the rest !!!
not for nothing after the hatton fight PBF did say would love to go overseas to fight.

Mayweather moving up to 168 to fight Calzaghe sounds like something that would happen in a Fight Night game (I know they're both missing in the game, but you know what I mean)
RJJ would be a much more likely opponent at about 165 or so. Calzaghe, despite being a top, exciting fighter doesn't have any PPV fights under his belt, therefore there wouldn't be enough $$$$$$$ to entice Floyd into the ring. But yeah, losing to Joe wouldn't hurt Floyd's legacy, just like SRR losing to a much bigger Jake LaMotta (outweighed 16 pounds, same day weigh in) didn't hurt Ray's (though I guess beating him the next 5 times definitely avenged it.)
Yeah, what was it Jake said 'I fought Sugar so many times I got Diabetes' lol
He would be in a no loose situation, ok he would probably loose his '0' but the great fighters of the past that have gone up, like Bob Foster have been thought no less of for trying. Then again he doesn't need the money, that's for sure, but if you stoked that ego enough....???? lol

maybe in about 5 years when joe is a little slower and fatter.
