Real question here so real answers please. Ottke wasn't a complete bum, he had a chance of going 12 rounds with Roy but would the judges give him another Win?
I think Jones would of KO'ed Ottke around round 10 and taken it out the hands of the judges.
People shouldn't underestimate Ottke's... unique style of fighting.
If Jones takes him lightly, puts on a boxing clinic and doesn't go for the KO he could get screwed by the judges like he was screwed against the Korean in the Olympics.
Ottke is almost impossible to KO, he had wins over Byrd, Tarver, Michael Moorer and Juan Carlos Gomez in the amateurs.
Sven will be on his bike all night.

Prime roy would have knocked him the fuck out or humiliated him so badly that the judges would have no way of awarding it to Ottke without an international incident. Plus Roy hit so quick, that fat fuck of a ref Tilleman that called foul on Reid's puncheswouldn't have thetime to call them all illegal.
To ensure fairness the US promoter could ask for a three slip rule to prevent Ottke from escaping that way. Saying that, if you suggested that rule, they agree to it, cover the ring in olive oil and send the mighty Sven out in spiked climbing boots
Ottke is the reason that Lacy was a decent favorite against Calzaghe and why Daruisz Michalczewski is often overlooked when top LHWs are talked about. I've only watched the Reid fight and that was enough for me, tough, durable, cautious fighter that obviously had the help of the ref and the judges in at least one fight, likely quite a few more.
If Roy Jones fights Ottke like he fought Griffin in their first fight he might lose a 'decision'.
If Roy Jones fights Ottke like he fought Griffin in their rematch he will KO Ottke (not as quickly as he KO'd Griffin because Ottke is very defensive and cautious).
Mucho trabajo old friend.
Did you enjoy the NYC atmosphere?
yes i did... it was an exciting atmosphere for two old farts... and the women... my GOD... and the bottled diet coke for $4.50 was truly priceless.... good time though, thanks for askin.
Assuming you're talking about prime Roy Jones, the fight wouldn't be close enough to steal from him. Ottke won all the close decisions, but he was never dominated like he would be against the Roy Jones of 10 years ago.
Roy would have become the 7th KO out of 35 fights for Heavy handed Sven.....
Please understand the sarcasm here Roy Nutclingers.
theres my sweetheart
I dunno Ottke was durable as fuck, and for all his faults i.e being average, he had heart.
That said if a fighter as big as RJJ in his prime went over there, I'm pretty sure he could get some shit on his terms i.e a good ref, and an American judge.
I'd still think Ottke would have a chance, his career is a sickener.
