I have become a fan of trinidad and lost a bit of respect for roy

Tito didn't have a prayer in the fight because he doesn't have any slick moves in the ring. He doesn't have that one move that can set a guy up and land a punch they don't see. He just stands in front of the guy and tries to bomb away at that one angle. Jones is insecure and he wants people to believe that he's still the man even though he hasn't beaten an opponent of note since November 2003. I don't believe for a second that he is willing to take on all challenges. He's been talking about Calzaghe and Oscar De La Hoya, but what about Glen Johnson? Give me a break, he's not serious about the sport anymore. He just doesnt want people to remember him on the floor as their last visions of him. He should walk away before he gets hurt.

Seeing him fight roy made me become a fan of him the guys got so much heart and he fights the best out there too which i respect. His biggest problem is not moving his head to well which got him caught against roy jones. Roy stil a fav fighter but i lost a bit of respect for him for acting stupid at his age hes too old to be doing that against a legit LHW and i also lost respect for him even taking this fight.well tito is the one eho wanted to fight roy in the first place! so blame tito if you don't like the match-up!

damn, you guys complain about simple shit. roy has been doing this for years, nothing new. did you expect him to change because he was fighting trinidad? roy is a showman.trinidad didnt complain,the ref didnt complain, neither did the fans at the garden.

i think yall tend to forget boxing is also entertainment 3 parts to all major sports business(seriousness),money(working for),entertainment(the fun that keeps the fans paying to watch) I agree show boating is very entertaining.. alot of fighters do it when they know they can.

Everyone was going crazy in msg and at my place when roy jones was laying on the ropes and motioning tito to come get him. That is roy that has always been him. He said we were going to see old roy and we did. Quit bitching about it. Mayorga disrespects opponents in the ring, Roy jones entertains. And trust me roy jones jr showed Trinidad all the respect in the world last night, because plain and simple roy jones was landing at will and could have easily ko'd tito if he really went out and wanted to hurt him but he didnt.

I was entertained by all that. the fans in the arena that paid all that money were entertained by all that. their 100$ tickets became priceless with the entertainment. it adds good vibe to the fight. jones isn't a robot, he is a human so he should be allowed to act like one and show his playful fun side. he doesn't taunt, insult or try and piss off his oponents more than he should. he was practically trinidad's friend during their cross country press tour. stop hating.

to me good boxing is entertainment enough good boxers acting like jackasses in the ring and disrespecting their opponent doesent add to the enteratainment value in any way, shape or form i dont remember anybody saying after castillo/corrales I "that was an the greatest fight ive ever seen.. but it couldve used some showboating"

yeh course man it was gd back then but now its jus plain stupid i wanted to see less showboating and more fighting from roy. more fightin from roy?the dude fought all 12 rounds? hes 39 YEARS OLD?.... 39?! he outputted every punch hes every throwin in that fight, and sustained it for 12 rounds, while never showing any real fatigue, at 39? double and triple left hooks.... straight fast right hands... 5, 6, 7 punch combinations... 2 knock downs... worked the jab, uppercuts and leaping left hooks.... starting to use a new defense after fighting ONE way his entire career... and at 39???? took VICIOUS blows to the body ALL night long... he saw openings.. and he fired, repeatedly... someone who fought at heavyweight... shrunk down 169 1/2 pounds... at 39 years old... and put on an active, entertaining, fight, with no little to no stamina problems.. asking for anything more... is simply delusional
