I'm disapointed Golota wasn't able to finish Mollo off.
The guy ran out of gas, he was tired as in the last rounds of the fight. Golota should have capitalised on that..
Golota just looks so slow. He never throws straight hands anymore. Everything is roundhouse like. I realize the guy is 40 but he has lost any snap in his punches he once had. He fights Chagaev, Ibragimov or any other small stocky quick heavyweight and he will get knocked out rather quickly. I would hate to see what Wlad would do to him.
Golota DOES have heart, he had a terrible cut against Riddick Bowe too and he fought through it and beat up Bowe. Golota's problem is that he is a mental case.
Gotta give Golota credit. Commentators noticed also, that perhaps finally he is showing a lot of heart. I mean that eye looks hideous. He was fighting on with 1 eye, and tried to knock Mollo out in the last round. He is still terrible at this point, he should have finished this guy off, so I can understand The-Bringer's pain lol.
well i think golota won that 117-111 i thought that mollo would have went down and i give him credit for making it 12 cause there were several times he should have went down
holy shit.. Mollo.. the word for this evening is... "professionalism"
i can't remember a fight where a fighter has been this out of shape to go 12
is it any easier to see how Mollo's camp expected this to be an early fight?
Round 12. Golota won it big, Mollo too tired to do anything other than hold on, he got hurt a few times. Got to give credit to Mollo for staying up and Golota got through some adversity without doing something stupid but he was slow. 118-110 Golota.
